I agree!! D4DJ takes songs and makes them their own. Like yea of course they don’t match Raychell’s or Tsumu’s vocals because that’s not the goal 😭. The goal is to make the cover sound like a Merm4id song and they achieved that perfectly imo

They were never going to be able to match Raychell's vocals. Rika and Daliah do a great job despite this, so props on this cover there. What really makes this cover not work for me is what they did with Tsumugi's raps. Marika's voice is too soft and wholesome (as apposed to hard and cocky that is pulled off in the original) as a result the whole energy of the song is thrown overboard (This also happens in the chorus section). It's a shame because there are strong parts to this cover (and the opening starts hard in a good way), but it ultimately falls flat.

It’s not always the same, but there’s no way Merm4ids can take down RAS, the original version is better.
