Hi Pete, I am going through your tutortial to get to know Meaglis HMIGTO6310 with Vijeo 6.2.
Excellent skill you have how to show prog. methods. I am following your instructions to program the HMI and proud to say I do all of them on my HMI without refering to videos.
By the way Vijeo 6.2 there is a title on the tool bar to Arrange push buttons etc. vertically or horizontally .

if you want to go to the system config by pushing both corners you need to push 1 corner, relaese it and then push the other corner. and that fast after eachother. If you push them both at the same time it doesn't work. And sometimes the HMI doesn't react so if you have trouble opening the configurations that way its best to push the corners a couple of times fast after each other.

Is there a different HMI screen that is actually visible in a outdoor situation. I get constant complaints on our chillers that our customer cannot read the HMI screen when the sun is shining on it. I hold my cell phone up to the screen on full brightness and it's 100% more clear and defined then the HMI screen. The customer has paid $150,000 for this chiller but struggles to adjust any parameters in the daylight. I love Snyder controls but the HMI screen is ridiculously low grade visibility. Customers would pay an additional $400 for a screen they could actually read
There seems to be a number of vendors stating that their HMIs are good for outdoor situations, but I couldn't recommend one. They must exist because sailboats use HMIs for all navigation chart plotters in the same environment.
I would say the best way to ensure visibility is to incorporate some sort of shroud to reduce glare.

He gave me the steps but it happens that the screen does not recognize the pendrive and I tried it on a new hmi and if it worked can you tell me why this is..

HELLO ESTIMATED, I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH AN HMI SCHNEIDER STU655 DOES NOT SIGN THE USB-B OR ETHERNET SIGNAL AT THE TIME OF PROGRAMMING WILL NOT HAVE A PROCEDURE MANUAL AS TO CONFIGURE IT AND THE VIJEO DESIGNER SOFTWARE 6.2

Is there any diffrences between XBTGC HMI controllers with touchscreens. I mean, can i communicate hmi controllers with plcs like pushing a button on hmi screen and activate an output on plc ?

It is very sad that Twido PLCs are obsolete. Maybe it makes sense to learn SoMachine of Unity Pro software, instead of TwidoSuite? Thank you, Pete! It was very informative and easy. I did it in simulation mode.

Yeah, in my opinion it's better to learn Siemens and AB products. Unfortunately in Russia Allen-Bradley is not so popular, like in North America. Siemens PLCs are more common here. Mainly S7-300 and even discontinued S7-200 series. Thanks for lessons, Pete!

Hi when i try to send what the work i did on vijeo to thé Hmi it say's Transfer failed bcs of à connections error, is it bcs of thé driver or câble or maybe bcs i didnt find my hmi version when i started New project so i worked with another version on vijeo ?

But i dont see it anywhere when i choose New project and im using vijeo designer 6.2
