The German public transport remains a mystery, just like it was when we visited Hamburg 15 years ago. But definitely worth the trip into the city. We were lucky with a beautiful day and some amazing buildings in the centre. Thanks for another amazing highlight on this tour 😃👍🏻🚐🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Love this episode. I lived and worked in Bremen back in 1974 and have many happy memories of the city. Back then tram tickets were bought from a tobacconist and you got the punched at a machine on the tram.
A nice flavour of the town. We visited 2 years ago and stayed in a decent Aire in the town centre by the big river bridge which had electric and toilets
We had exactly the same experience as you - not helpful at reception and also told to get off at a stop that was quite a walk to get the tram. We loved looking around the centre of Bremen but were very tired by the time we got back to our campervan. Thank you for showing inside the cathedral - there was a service going on so we weren’t able to go in
Hi Bob and Jenny and Trev and Sue thank you for taking us around Bremen it looks a fabulous place it is also spotlessly clean as well it’s amazing how in Germany they rebuilt largely as it was prior to WW2 and in England we went for brutalism etc Love the strudel and looked delicious and looks a place with a really good atmosphere looks like you all had a wonderful day all the best Daniel
Hi been following for only a short time but have seen lots of blogs. Can I ask Bob you have lost so much weight. Hope your in good health. Great videos by the way 👏
I've been on a pre-diabetic program from Reed Wellbeing, since March this year. The program is a national prgram sponsored by the NHS. So far I've lost 20kg in weight following a suggested menu plan, cutting out white bread and other high carb foods.
My weight has been stable for about a month. In February, I was obese and pre-diabetic. I am now a perfectly healthy weight with a normal BMI and blood glucose range and no longer pre-diabetic.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo so glad to hear that...please Don't loose any more.. you will start looking ill...n we cannot have you being ill ...we love your blogs n love you 3 xxx

That would have been easier to understand. There was a ticket machine on the tram we caught and we don't know if that covered the bus!
