HS2 site EKFB near Banbury, it all kicks off after initially being given the go ahead. Drone footage of the tunnels being made for the environment, ''green tunnels''.
Only half-way into the video I must admit I´m not ONLY here for the confrontations! 🙂...BUT for the actual subject matter! What an impressive project those tunnels are! Think how many people and how much thinking and planning that goes into it! IMPRESSIVE! Cheers DJE Media who, aside from this audit, also contributes to valuable documentation of the project.
My mate worked for the main contractor for a few years and he said to me that the amount of concrete sections that he see going into the site and tunnel didn't actually work out for how many they needed. But he said that he see tunnels that isn't on any plans. But it's all sectioned off nobody can get near it. That was in the Chiltern Tunnel. He said there are teams of contractors that stay on site working 24/7 in this restricted area. Interesting stuff
@@bashkillszombies yeah I'm a believer that there are many many underground compounds around the UK. And my friend is a straight go'er never been in any trouble with the old bill etc. But he said the workers can't work on certain days in them areas. They done channel tunnel in less time and opened it. Would be a good cover. It's like a James Bond film all these orange people running about protecting a mountain. Cheers for the reply 👍
Dj..... a 1 and a half million pound crane was dumped in a hole and buried on one HS2 site when finished with,as they could not be arsed to transport it!....The money wasted has been eye watering!....
In China would be a canal built and the precast concrete put in as fast as you can walk. In uk we have massive huge sites with fences and roads and cameras etc. That's why it costs so much. Interesting video
The main rules and advice are covered in our Drone and Model Aircraft Code Key rules include: Never fly more than 120m (400ft) above the surface Always keep your drone or model aircraft in sight Never fly in an airport’s flight restriction zone unless you have permission
The airfield you first flew over looks like Bruntingthorpe it use to have a large collection of British Cold War aircraft that were in taxing condition and did fast runs down the runway, now the owner has stopped that and now house used cars that end up in auctions.
Those famous words.... "you got a drone license?" 🤦♀ Well dodgy at the end following you in public space to try and find your car. They need reporting. That's stalking and can also been seen as a threat. That has basically come about because the idiot security guard didn't get he own way (because he was totally wrong) and threw his toys out the pram. Who do these security think they are? Even the police would have to have a very valid reason to follow you and try and find info on them. Appalling behaviour by that security.
At 25:18 - don´t know the model but looks like Volvo doesn´t it? A quick googling gave me an estimated price of 200.000 EUR per dumper truck, ....times 61 dumper trucks makes it a whopping 12.200.000 EUR. They better have good security there!
Bit contradictory really. Stand there telling them the laws of how can fly over yet clearly when flying hasn’t got line of sight. After almost loosing the drone once for not having line of sight I’d be pretty careful myself
They really can't grasp what you mean when you say you will not be on site when you start videoing and flying the drone. One lad got it, but the rest seemed to have a mental block for some reason, and they were in charge !!
If they try and find out who you are by the number plate , That is illegal and a serious breach if they have obtained it , Check with DVLA and Police if any of you info has been requested .
Good on the last English guy! Well done sir! Took your time to find out the correct regulations! And good communication also! A good representative of his company. The others need a talking to by the boss’s especially the one who followed you on public land!
And here we have the " Yeah Yeah Yeah " people or " No No No " people All too common nowdays ,but they may only say it twice or if you're really lucky-you may get a " Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah " or some " No No No No No's " out of them.
Another good video from the Hs2 sight enjoyed watching it again good length time video again till the next one cheers dje media o dj audits name mentioned again lol 👍
It is also called a cut and shut(cover) tunnel bit like the first underground section built in Victorian times Baker Street to Edgware Road etc now Met line
I have to say I love your Videos... However its becoming more and more clear especially with the latest HS2 sites Your arent keeping Line of site. Keep this up and it wont just effect you it will effect all Auditor and us photographers that like to fly. Please change this as you are a great auditor...

No wonder HS2 is taking so long and costing loads of money when there are a lot workers just standing around looking busy 😀are they employed to keep the unemployed stastics down ?
Cmon DJE, the money you’re making you could easily afford one of them go faster bikes like other auditors, then you can hide your number plates in the next county 😜
No you can't. You must be a registered company like a industry registered car parking company. They sell them your details for £2 , nice little earner for dvla. But it's restricted to a few members, others include the police if course and a few government bodies. No-one else can under any circumstances get any info.
@OH2023-cj9if no you can't. Court appointed bailiffs can't either. Hence the clamping of cars and asking for proof of ownership if someone else on the can't pay we will take it away programs. If they could get the info they would know right away the owner. And you can definetly not get any info for any reason. The database is restricted to a very small group if registered people and that ain't you or me.
@kevinmulligan9055 Anyone can apply using the form for individuals, with a good reason you will get the details. I have done it myself. As stated, registered keeper not necessary the owner.
The first HS2 services will run between Birmingham Curzon Street and Old Oak Common in London between 2029 and 2033. It will take 49 minutes from London to Birmingham, and 38 minutes to Birmingham interchange. mad.

From the HS2 stuff I've seen so far, their staff seem to think they are working at Fort Knox! They seem to think camera's equal protestors too.

It's apart of the training they receive. Paid for, from tax payers money made for the people by the people
from watching your hs2 videos, its clear to see why its costing so much. the temporary works infrastructure looks as costly as the actual works.
I'd say that there's potential new roads and cycle paths on that when it's filled in

You need to take a hi vis jacket with you.....Audio is spot on today DJ... I really like these HS2 videos.... Thank you so much 👍👍 x

Great example of an illegal flight. Clearly flying beyond VLOS.
He's doing it more and more 😮

Don't look to be any fire exits

Fabulous view inside the concrete tunnel, and brilliant footage for archive history 👍

How can it be green when they use and dig up stuff to make this, to me a stream train is more green than what they have today.
