I’m moving to Wake Forest this weekend. New Light is going to be my new home trail (which works perfectly since I mainly ride Sundays lol). The elevation profile and tech looks very similar to what I’m used to so I’m stoked to have this out my back door.
Most people think hunting season is deer season. You should note: New Light is closed from 9/1 - 5/15, September 1st through May 15th it is ONLY open on Sundays.
@@FoCoFlowShow I believe you actually rode it CCW which is the normal route. I could be wrong, just trying to help. I used to ride this trail quite often.
My neck of the woods. We don't have a whole lot of elevation here, but we make the most of what we have; blessed to have lots of trail variety in the area.

@@joelankeny6277 make sure you link up with Nate and Chris (trek shop - north raleigh) - they host the dirt church Sunday morning rides - super fun

Good intel - thank you for clarifying!
did you get down to San Lee Gravity while you were in town?
You’ll have to watch next weeks video to find out 😬😬😬
@@FoCoFlowShow will do 😄 I just went and looked at your strava, message me next time you head down there, or come back around town.
@@jaredrude431 haha - will do … it was a last minute decision this time
Did you go CW or CCW?
The normal route is CW… CCW is pretty brutal

@@GermanTabor Yes he definitely rode CCW

I started MTBing when I moved to Raleigh in 2011… lived and road there until 2018… super fun trails and a GREAT cycling community
