I get it. We all wanted the same Union LA Jordan 1 in a different colorway, BUT...
I think these are really good. I think they pay homage to the OG while also pushing the envelope. The construction is mad. I think these will grow on people and be valued in the long run in their own right.

I felt the same when I seen 1st images and passed on them I went for palomino 1s , but once I seen these on feetz they looked so siCk and the colorway goes with everything I love ivory white and grey all together, Chris owner of Union and Beth met in 96' they are husband and wife and the woven design represents they're Love
The shoe is amazing. Well said, not sure the original will ever be topped. I appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to try something new rather than ship in a 3rd CW of the OG (which they can do at any time). Unique story and shoe with a great brand, surprised they aren’t higher

Man, I feel you! These are definitely up there for me too. The colorway is clean and the shoe is so unique. People only have issues because they're trying to compare it to one of the greatest sneakers of all time IMO in the OG, but even this stands on its own. Long term I think a lot of people who don't like it will come around on these. Appreciate the comment!🙏👊

Bro, I hate shipping fees as much as anyone, but unless you buy from Nike direct you can pretty much expect it. IMO, still way better than StockX or GOAT fees after the fact. You just mad at the shipping, or you don't like the shoe either? Let us know!
