This symbolic song carries great great messages of change and transformation. mariamu symbolies any ugandan who should embrace change in society-here shes been called upon to get a cloth to fasten jesus( jesus could symbolise our nation uganda or the community so it doesnt "cry"),the soloist calls upon pple from diff parts of uganda to bring the cloth to fasten baby jesus on the back of the mother so he doesnt cry!

It's idiomatic song, meaning bring the small cloth that's used to hold/tie the baby at the woman's (Mariam) back... Very common in African black tribes... But its a gosple song so that kalerero/small cloth here means anything that attributes to ministering the gosple is needed, has a deeper meaning.. 👍
