I watched Danny Phantump's video on hit rates and I think it takes something like 120-130 packs to pull a gold, so there you go. Was cool to get the random Pokemon *and* make profit. As for prices, yeah I think the Pikachu SIR is total market manipulation. It's approaching $600 US apparently (!). That's ridiculous. The question is: when that ends, how much lower will it get, if at all? Seems the very top chase card from a lot of these recent sets remains pricey. We'll see. Looking forward to the weekend vids!

Went to Target last night with my brother, ended up buying 8 sleeves packs just randomly. Pulled the pikachu SIR and Lisia SIR and I almost started crying! It was so amazing!

I missed these vending machines videos! I think that you should have a different prize separated from the bounty Pokemon. A prize for hitting profit, and then one for the bounty Pokemon. Just my dumb opinion though lol! My guess is Scyther!

On my work travels I found a vending machine in Brisy, it was not stocked or hit hard, so visited local toy stores and got some sneaky QLD packs. That B&E roll was epic. Some nice full art hits and Phanpy. Yeah, Surging is not tickling my fancy. Fabtrio 🤣. Vault does do nice stuff, wish it was a little cheaper, or I was richer 🤣.
From a hit standpoint the surging sparks booster bundles have a lot more hits than booster boxes in the same # of packs. IE 6 bundles vs a booster box.
I personally think surging sparks is way over hyped. Yes there are some great art works, but there is in every set lol nothing to lose your mind over. Pokemon guess for dark explorers is crustle

My man, you are severely underrating Surging Sparks. The art works are phenomenal and it has great depth. It definitely has some hype, but the prices aren’t going anywhere but up for the product. The demand is outrageous for many reasons. Vivid Voltage can’t be mentioned around this set again ok… that is a garbage set save one card 😂. Great video as always my man 🙌

Yeah I'm not that hyped on Surging Sparks. Pull Rates for SIR are now pretty much 1 in 2 Booster Boxes and you NEED to hit the Latias or the the Pikachu to make your money back and if you don't hit them, you will not get close. Additionally, the Pikachu is way overprized imo.
i don't really like Alolan Dugtrio but the IR is nice! Surging Sparks prices are absolutely shameful though, and its entirely on TPCi for constantly making pull rates worse and worse the entire SV era
I had skip ahead in my backlog of subscription videos I have to watch this. Pretty good on surging sparks when they say the hit rates are a little harder yet in this set. Like you said there a some cards in there I definitely want to pull or get sooner or later. I haven’t opened any yet as I’m working on a twilight masquerade sleeved case at the moment. I did get lucky as far cost and preordered a sleeved case early on and then preordered a booster box case as the price started to rise. I always preorder a case of Pokémon center etb’ s and somehow got lucky on release day and managed to order a second case in the 5-10 minutes they were live before selling out again. At the cost I probably won’t try and master he set but keep a lot sealed for now. Man, that breakfast sandwich looked good. I hope your ends finishes great. Thanks for sharing.
