Meet the Makers, a Creative Cape Town project, offers a glimpse into the processes, spaces and personalities of local creative practitioners - from architects to educators, designers to dancers, chefs to singers.
Through monthly studio visits and a documentary film series produced by MUTI Films, Meet the Makers provides a holistic overview of Cape Town's creative industries, exploring how creativity and design are perceived in a local context with global connections. The project aims to capture a pivotal moment in Cape Town's creative and cultural history.
Meet the Makers is #WDC214 - an officially recognised World Design Capital 2014 project.
