Staggering hypocrisy.
Yet in 2021, redbulls wing was passing the test but was flexing more in a race so they modified the test forcing Redbull to change their wing. Why is this different today? Where’s the “we know you passed the test but it’s not what we meant” clause?
Lot of british in the comments apparently forget how fia changed the way they test wings to ensure no flexiing was being done during race, cuz some teams complained that Redbull were cheating... So i would expect fia to change the way they perform the test to keep it fair ...and make sure nobody is flexing the wings
The static test is most likely straight down, while the aero load is a vector derived from downward aero load and rearward drag load (determined by speed). So you can layup the carbon tow to align with the test load (for maximum deflection reduction in this load direction) and be laid at an angle relative to the drag load and you could be surprisingly precise in how it will deform
It's quite funny, a few years ago redbull were complaining about rear wings on the Merc, yet they were the only ones messing about with their rear wing on the grid 😂😂
If the other teams are exploiting some kind of design loophole, you would think RB would do the same and go even further ahead, unless they've found a less obvious way to do the same thing, or they are only making a show at complaining because they have been doing the same but don't want anyone catching on. Anyone would think RB has their own rear rear-facing cameras focused on the front wings of the cars driving behind them.
You would think that if Mercedes come back into contention, then they would probably seek a more seasoned driver for the next season, and maybe Sainz is that person.
Wouldn't the Monza change will make it easier for the inside car on turn 1 to dictate what happens on turn 2 as it can carry more speed and still make turn 2?
Don’t think for a second that RB’s wing doesn’t perform exactly as they’re complaining how the other teams perform. They’ve got nothing to develop for 2026…they’re already using it
Red Bull should use them too. The FIA appointed Masi for entertainment sakes and now the FIA ignores Mclarens, Ferrari's and Mercedes's for entertainment sakes?

Remember the flexi floor thing that everyone said RB was cheating with last(?) year? And how the FIA "banned" it, and RB stayed the same pace while Merc and Ferrari lost pace? I'm not saying RB isn't cheating, they probably are, but that's how the sport works, who can "cheat" in the most creative way and get away with it.
Considering RBR's domination of the last few years, there is no way in hell the FIA will do anything to help them and hamstring the other teams. They've been desperately hoping for this convergence for a couple of years, why on earth would they step in?
Horner being Horner. Whining about something they do, but others do it better. What up Horner. You got a bit scared huh, and then, Newey isn't gonna be there next season. I think he is sooooo shitting his pants and well see toxic Max again...

Don't forget Toyota drive trains with the shift in specs for 2026. These are close to the LMH specifications. Which is why Audi is entering F1.
Horner not liking what the other teams have done with the wings does not mean they are cheating, it just means they are being creative with the rules or found a loophole, which is what the sport is about. Red Bull honestly thought they were on the path to do a Mercedes and win 8 Constructors in a row, no chance. Now, they've lost that pure dominance. They're also pointing at the wings of other teams, that they were relying on over other teams and also other aero points 👉 😂 they've been caught up too 😂
So while redbull was dominating with its car no one question the car. But soon as other teams reach the level they need to compete redbull starts to talk nonsense
@F1 News I would not be surprised if Carlos Sainz only got a lowball offer for the Red Ball seat for one year. With most Red bull contracts, except for Max, allowing the overall company to put their drivers in either team. or on loan to RB. Is this why Sainz rejected the first Redbull offer? This may also be why the Yuki contract was delayed till after Sainz rejection offer one. Now the Red bull group is trying to still persuade Sainz to sign with them for the 6th fastest team instead of Williams or Sauber? Would a 2 year or longer deal with the carrot of moving Sainz up to the Redbull car in 2025 or 2026 be possible? If Perez does not perform the rest of the year or in 2025, Could Perez be demoted (loaned) to RB for the remainder? I don't know if the Perez sponsors would allow a transfer of Perez back to the RB team or not? What are your thoughts.

wow man who at RB hurt you?
If Red Bull are off the pace in Barcelona along with them complaining about everyone's flex wing, we might have a serious championship battle on our hands!
just a heads up, the red bar at the bottom of your thumbnail makes it look like a video with the watch progress bar full as if people have watched it before. It might cause some people to not click because they might believe theyve already watched it :)
i will never understand why people always go to 'complaining' whenever a protest is lodged for a new part. Teams want to confirm if it's legal and if its going to stay legal before they reprioritise development. Some people need to think that it's only RB that does it.
If they don’t have money because of crashes, maybe the drivers should pay them!
The test for the flaps involves putting a 6kg weight on the flap, aero load is 600kg on the wing....Are you surprised it bends?
Are you new to F1 Mercedes complained and got the load tests changed when Red Bulls wings were flexing too much,
British F1 fans are the worst
Thanks for an interesting overview of front wings
Horner is mad because Checo spent all the Frontwing Money with his crashes.
Red Bull honestly thought they were on the path to do a Mercedes and win 8 Constructors in a row, no chance.
Now, they've lost that pure dominance. They're also pointing at the wings of other teams, that they were relying on over other teams and also other aero points 👉 😂 they've been caught up too 😂
Rabs Red Bull doesn’t have the best car you should be excited and Hammy should have no excuses why he doesn’t claim his 8th
Max fan?
@@ReturnOfChef no but I always thought Sir Hammy could win in an F2 car
@@kgrich836 wait til next year and we’ll see
So while redbull was dominating with its car no one question the car. But soon as other teams reach the level they need to compete redbull starts to talk nonsense
Red Bull doesn’t like it when they are beaten at their own game
Checos crash has caused RBR significantly ...no more cash to splash so they will be forced to turn up Max' engine again.
Redbull cry babies
🤡 world
I mean if redbull doesnt use this loophole and still beats the competition on tracks which doesnt suit them that speaks for itself. Now imagine redbull use this wing.....
Red Bull already has one for next year, they can bring it up quickly. You know they aren't winners without looking ahead. Use it now!
Here comes the redbull tears 😭
Red bull doesn't give you wings
Flexing front wing is why the red bull is fast. You can see it flexing with the on board camera
Its allowed to flex but only a certain amount. His testing the waters and is way more clever than people think. If he makes waves and nobody complains he is basically been given the green light and RB will follow suit without standing a chance of being banned and wasting money. Everybody will be Bitching when RB bring there version of Flexi wing but nobody would be able to ban it
Here’s a thought let’s pit all the other teams for each race and have Max and Checo run by themselves. Would that please RB? Checo would still probably finish outside the points😂
If a team is caught cheating, then the penalties should be banned for one or two races, or lose all points earned for driver and team!
Flexi wings go back to 1999, loads of teams running them and failures in the wings causing high speed shunts
