I've only had a brief play of this, getting to the Shore of Slaves, and I'm mostly standing, looking at the ground, watching the rain wash over... Glorious! Nice to finally get a game that uses Unreal Engine 5! 😁

I don't use headphones for this, but I have surround sound speakers, which I'm sure the neighbours love 😉
I played it about 2 hours on my PC tonight (i7 4,7 GHz, 32 GB DDR4, RTX 2070 8GB, m.2 SSD, Sony WH-1000xm4 Headphones) and I can say this game is magic! The visuals are the best I`ve had in a game.

I've seen voice actors voiced acted the characters in the video game. But Melina Juergens voice acted Senua of her own face as well her own voice too. That's a badass!
It's harder for the devs the other way around. But Melina's face doesn't break my sense of immersion, so no problem. She is Senua for me.😊
Wow The psychological aspect for this game just got cranked up to 11 can't wait for this finaley come out because I'm sure it's going to be one of the best games of this year

Nah. Ff7 Rebirth looks just as nice as this game. Hellblade may have a slight edge but considering it's only a 10hour game I would expect that.
This is really more of a tech showcase than a game. But it'll be cool.
@@XDLugia we been in this gen for many years so is no next gen, and to be totally honest I think first next gen game would be ratchet clank, as it was first to show off how fast the storage is on PS5, first to showcase different worlds with no loads simaranously rushing through the portals etc, other then that idk man, to me with good PC read dead 2 still has one most beautiful open world in gaming, horizon forbidden West stuns, but hellblade 2 is def not gonna be the first next gen game, is no next gen games at this point we are stuck at a point tech wise devs can't break that barrier, guess vr etc is next frontier, cause even with 6000 dollar and most powerful graphics cards u can buy u aren't getting graphics any better then today's games cause isn't a way to top it were at max, best could do is start with ai worlds that's crumble grow etc in real time, ai etc I think will have he insane improved for (next gen) like that what ubi demo u literally talk to NPCs and ai has conversations with u etc, that's cool stuff but graphically were at a walk

Not really realistic Big RPGs have way too much content and characters to make that feasible and the world structure (persistent NPCs and size) would get you horrible performance.
Imagine Bethesda being capable.

This game does not need marketing. This isn't God Of War or Assassin's Creed
Ninja Theory are the ones Marketing smart one
Of course they not that would eat into they gamepass profits it's not about the games to them as long as they can string you along month after months waiting on the next big game (that turns out to be a disappointment) just to make you all wait for the next one

A game can be even 2 hours, doesn't mean isn't a game.
It's a true next gen game, just because it has many accessibility improvements, and the graphics on console it has, it just Amazing... So stop your console wars and start playing games.
"Next Gen" isn't all about graphics. This game is gonna flop like the first game, and even that game looked incredible. And yes, I'm mainly on Xbox.

All games on pc/ps5/xsx are upscaled. True 4k native games do not exist, even Epic's CEO said it after the release of The Matrix demo, it's all lies because the marketing in the gaming industry is not regulated.
@@maximelemay8444 except there's one game being rendered in 8k then downscaled to 4k on PS5 it may not be graphically intensive and an indie game but throws a wrench in your no game on console is 4k native narrative

If anyone remembers way back in the early 2000s we made a graphical leap to hdtv. I was in middle school and remember being blown away by what games were looking like. I’m getting a bit of that feeling again watching this. UE5 might be a game changer.

Gamepass inspires low cost high return titles as it's execs who have all the say (you don't support games , you support Xbox paying for gamepass they determine how your money is used and what it funds NOT YOU)
What these execs want is too be spending less and earning more.......and how do you do that
1.lower cost of development resulting in lower quality smaller scale games
2.increase monetisation by adding microtransactions so at least the game is still bringing in money despite people having access to it as part of they monthly charge
3.increase gamepass prices and hope people aren't willing to give up the access to the library of games they have gotten used to
To anyone supporting gamepass really think about what your supporting and ask your self which will result in better games......you supporting the studios that make the games you enjoy or Xbox execs deciding what games you should have access too

Their next game should be a German soldier in WWII, wakes up after being knocked unconscious by mortar fire, and doesn't know who he is or why he is there. He tries to flee the battlefield, but even his own people fire upon him, as he tries to evade death, he realizes everyone is his enemy, so he makes a run for the forest.. and so begins the psychological issues of having amnesia in the middle of a war like WWII, and the survival required to escape as he pieces together the lost portions of his memory and makes his way home across the country side of a foreign land.. as his memories unfold, he remembers how much he opposed the Führer and the entire ideology, how his life was upended by the Reich... the ending could be something like he hunts down the Führer, or he makes it home to his family and homestead... I dunno... but the Hellblade model has made this idea of a game like this possible.

Is it gonna have the voices whispering all the time? I have misophonia I can’t control it and I think it’s so common now days I hope they have an option to deactivated it is not the whisper itself it’s that is making extra mouth noises really I want to reap my ears off I can’t deal with it 😢 or loud chewing or or when someone swallows loud😢

its not full realistic imersiv. is. more a problem with the LUMEN,the aproxymanation system..
its limited on what the lightsystem Lumen can handle, not in the last update to day but near in the last year... new patch/ Updates are not in the game..
there some limitation specially in open aras and closed too,.. and limitations with a lot of light objects, smoke/ fire etc..
There is photorealism. And what will they fascinate you with? What will the developers do to entertain? Is this a meditative walk for whom?
I love the grhaphics and workd looks kind of cool, but Just couldn't push myself to complete the first one the gameplay was very bloring to me

Philnochio is going to be happy but since the game is going to be disastrous at 25fps and it has had a bad campaign after Ninja Theory closed a few weeks, oh but before that they will release it on PlayStation to see if it sells anything, end of another IP.

It was going to be a next-gen game. But we're already 4 years into the 'next-gen' era, so it'll be current-gen game. The next gen games have just started development. So maybe we'll see them in another 4 years. But, by then, they'll be classed as current-gen again ;)
Yeah next-gen doesn't really mean anything anymore. But UE5 does feel like a generational leap.

upscalling can maybe help a little bit but this is full scale next gen near all in full throttle power up what you can title

Hellblade 2 is running 5.4 how? It was revealed few month ago I doubt they had time to remake the whole game to work or at least to leverage 5.4 in any meaningful way.

@@rocheneljeanbaptiste3604 It's not about who helped them month before production. If you do any developement job the code in already in prod v1.0. They just working mostly on optimization and bugs. I mean you may know more than Digital Foundry but Alex talked about the ammount of work it took EPIC to update Matrix:Awakens demo. Another hint could be that even though the landscape is very Island like the game doesnt use nanite for alpha particles (again that's what Digital Foundry said) which was added in 5.3.
Maybe you will surpise me on thuesday, but I doubt it. Anyway it should be amazing looking game.

On gamepass and you expecting it too sell well......this studios days are numbered you don't even get it , it's not about sales they only concern is gamepass growth if they don't see mass growth in subscriptions then you wanna worry
High Fi rush didn't move the needle that's why that studio is gone gamepass growth has slowed to a practical halt I don't see this changing anything
Hopefully more and more people are realizing just how anti consumer gamepass is and they see some loss so they can get back to focusing on selling games not manipulating they audience through subscription
