    No problem! I am a visual learner so I teach that way and find it easier to grasp, I'm glad you liked it. It actually didn't take half as long as it would if I normally sew. It took like 2hrs max, if that....

    You have SO inspired me, I'm going home get me some cheap hair first just to practice and I am making me a wig. Once I've gotten it to where I want it I will be using my more expensive hair. I need a hobby and this right here can relax my mind. I thank you and you continue to do what you do best. Be blessed Sis.

    awww yes it happens all the time, just with practice you will get better, promise. I space the tracks out in the back not caring what it looks like because it's in the back of course, but once I get closer to the top I make sure they are almost touching so that you won't experience the spacing because it is very noticeable at the top more so then it is in the back!

If I can pull off some of what I've seen you do, I think I will... thank you for sharing with us your experiences with these products, and teaching us your techniques, which are so easy to grasp (I assume... I still have to get started on this little journey of mine lol). I will be watching for more :-)

    HI! I am making my first wig this week and your videos have been so helpful. When using this cap, you do not have to cut those extra flaps that are by your ears? Like the wig will still fit on my/your head comfortably with the hair sewn on it? I wasnt sure if i was missing something with that part.
    Thank you!

  • @DekuMaster635

    I am not sure, but I never make my rows close in the back, only once I get to the middle/front of the wig, try to use the two finger rule. I make my track about two fingers width apart once I get to the top, stack them closer!

  • @JasmineBennett
    @JasmineBennett  11 років тому

    Sometimes I experience that, but when you sew you have to make sure your cap is pulled and secured tightly on the mannequin head so that you wont have the matting and bunching up issue. Make sure the cap is pulled tight with no lumps or bumps!!

    Lol no it's not at all. So once you get to the last stitch. What I do it loop it through and knot it like I would if I was sewing regularly cut it, but make sure you leave the thread long enough so you can knot it several times the cut away the access.
