I love your tutorials. I am a licensed hairstylist and I plan on making custom wigs for ppl and I always wondered how to do the closures and make them look natural but now I know by watching your videos. Thank you so much. It was well needed. I can't wait to try it out.
No problem! I am a visual learner so I teach that way and find it easier to grasp, I'm glad you liked it. It actually didn't take half as long as it would if I normally sew. It took like 2hrs max, if that....
You have SO inspired me, I'm going home get me some cheap hair first just to practice and I am making me a wig. Once I've gotten it to where I want it I will be using my more expensive hair. I need a hobby and this right here can relax my mind. I thank you and you continue to do what you do best. Be blessed Sis.
OMG this has to be 1 of the most informative video ever on how to make a lacefront. I cant believe how easy you made it seem , i must try to make me one ASAP. Please make other videos
awww yes it happens all the time, just with practice you will get better, promise. I space the tracks out in the back not caring what it looks like because it's in the back of course, but once I get closer to the top I make sure they are almost touching so that you won't experience the spacing because it is very noticeable at the top more so then it is in the back!
I absolutely LOVE how you avoided cutting your hair into tracks. That's the smartest thing I've seen when investing hundreds into your hair. I don't make many wigs but this here has inspired me to do so and to step it up. Thank you! #newsubbie
thanks for explaining so well. keep these type of videos coming. some of us will always go to salon. some of us want to learn for ourselves so we can have opportunity to free up some coins.
I Love this tutorial.. So simple and very explicit.. Thank you for making this.. And Im a a hairstylist and you made it very clear and concise.. Thank you again and I am subscribing!
I like this tutorial girl..u didn't give all that unnecessary dialog about ur dog and ya husband like some other people...straight to the point. I Like that u did it for people who don't have a background in hair. Thanks. this is my first video of urs but if more are like this i will subscribe.
Honesty you just made this so easy for me everybody else does this in a complicated way to the point I tried 3 times a failed at it I tried with your method and it looks and feels fabulous!!!
U did an awesome job ur the first person tah show the entire process specially whn it comes to how the front is made everybody I've watched show u the bck/middle install,I'm a video maker myself u-part wigs nah not feeling it but ur process is something I would try...thanx
I love this tutorial. It's really simple and straight to the point. I know how to do sew ins and so I wanted to try making my own lace wigs. The hair and this wig is awesome. Onto the bleaching video. Thank you!
I just want to say how much I like your videos... I'm a gay male from Mississippi, and being from the south, I've never wanted to publicly experiment with wigs and weaves, but your hair is BOMB!! If I can pull off some of what I've seen you do, I think I will... thank you for sharing with us your experiences with these products, and teaching us your techniques, which are so easy to grasp (I assume... I still have to get started on this little journey of mine lol). I will be watching for more :-)
OMG! This will be handy for my costume making! I bet with using synthetic hair will make the wigs I need cost less than $20 each! Very excited about this DIY!
Girl! You just showed me what I was doing wrong with my wig; I'm must now catching my mistake. LOL - not even going to say what I was doing. THANK YOU, I need good visuals to learn stuff - you saved me. No more glue for me :D
I really love your quick and easy tutorials and Thanks for showing the blessings because You Rock and I hope you continue to become Successful at everything you put your mind and hands too!!!!!
Thank you so much for this video! This one is thus far the most informative and easiest I have seen researching how to make these! I am an avid wiggalina have a channel but mine is mostly reviews and howto's on vamping your wigs. Thank you! Thank you! I am going to go get the stuff today and do this! You rock
I just bout my first ever hair weave 3 bundles Malaysian curly and a closure I was gonna just see it in because it just looked so hard making a unit ! Big I'm so glade I found u !!!!! New subbie all the way
Girlllll I love you you done saved me 100s maybe even more thanks for this video most people would charge to show this where I come from your a good people
Wow, in less then 10 min u finished. You really make it easy to understand, just wanted to try this but afraid that I would really really messed up my hair. but seeing this video I really think I'm going to make one myself. Thanks
That was soooo helpful! I'm gonna try it and see it goes. I wasted to make a wig for the winter to protect my hair but it was going to cost me £85! which is a bit excessive, so here I go!
Great tutorial. I was looking for a video with the mesh cap, because that is what I purchased. I does look like the dome cap will be more snug for my small-med size head lol. I love your tutorial because it was easy and straight to the point. I think I will purchase a dome cap as well. Thanks so much!
HI! I am making my first wig this week and your videos have been so helpful. When using this cap, you do not have to cut those extra flaps that are by your ears? Like the wig will still fit on my/your head comfortably with the hair sewn on it? I wasnt sure if i was missing something with that part. Thank you!
This is by far one of the easiest sewing tutorials on YT. Very descriptive & great for visual ppl like me. How long does it take to sew your entire wig since you doubled all of the wefts??
so the wig cap doesn't shrink or bunch while you're sewing causing the wig not to fit my head? cuz I have a big head and I'm scared it won't fit after all that work
I am not sure, but I never make my rows close in the back, only once I get to the middle/front of the wig, try to use the two finger rule. I make my track about two fingers width apart once I get to the top, stack them closer!
Sometimes I experience that, but when you sew you have to make sure your cap is pulled and secured tightly on the mannequin head so that you wont have the matting and bunching up issue. Make sure the cap is pulled tight with no lumps or bumps!!
I totally agree with MissShanese! This was excellent. Everything was nice and up close and I could see all your hand movements and everything. I have never ever made a wig, but you know what, I know how to sew really well, and if thats the only skill you need.. that plus this video... Ima be on it! Great video. #Isubscribed
question.. is it on to use the elastic straps also with that type of cap..I see it has adjusting straps also..I'm asking because I have shave sides and back and I want it to be able to fit my head fairly tight and still look natural..can u please help me out..I'm trying to make my own wig for my bday next month...thanks love!
Lol no it's not at all. So once you get to the last stitch. What I do it loop it through and knot it like I would if I was sewing regularly cut it, but make sure you leave the thread long enough so you can knot it several times the cut away the access.
i love it...do u do the full front lace closure with the band...ive been asked to do one...and i hv a idea of how to...i amd my client just need to see the visual of it. thank you for sharing ♡♡♡
This video has inspired me to make my own wig. It seems really easy to do, please make more videos for us. I would like to see a sew in video. I would love to start doing my hair. Again, thank you :-)
