I’m not sure, but I would love 💗 to see a updated video where you talk about pricing like how much it cost you to print and buy all your books with them. What their minimum was? Hi Lisa. Just coming back to this video with a big thank you for recommending Vervante. Learning about Vervante has been one of the biggest gems I've gotten in my planner biz research so far because of what I learned looking through their website and videos. I went to the Target planner and notebook section tonight looking things over in-depth and taking photos like I have at other stores (I highly recommend people considering planner or notebook biz do that). There I realized Vervante website ideas had given me deeper understanding of the options and helps it all feel more doable (even though I may just do all diy handmade instead of help from a company but still deciding).
Hi There: I have an entire rolodex of DIY and international vendors listed in Planner Academy programs.prettyfabulousdesigns.com/boss-school-planner-academy XO Lisa
Trying to understand you method here. You had the same web page enlarged on the screen for the entire video and then try to show us things in the little video box….. smart uh? 👌🏾
Hi Miguel: I know nothing about Canva but you can print anything with this company. However, I suspect that it will be super low quality due to the limitations that Canva places on its files. You need to have a full bleed and I don't think that's something you can set up in Canva and high quality resolution is also something I doubt is available in Canva. But you can try and see how it looks. Good luck! XO Lisa
I love your channel. I am working with my daughter on a planner. She is doing artwork by hand. Is there a way to get her hand drawn design incorporated into planner without the special equipment?
Hi Ruth: I know nothing about drawing since I have zero illlustration talents. But if you look at my UA-cam Channel - I reference other channels that do! XO Lisa
Hi, I am struggling to design tabs for my client. He wants to do tabs for his planner. And I don't know how to design them so that he will have no problem while printing it out. I also have no idea if I should design them or the one who is printing it out will do it. Need your help
Hi Crissi: Never - I'm not a big fan of Canva. I learned design on Adobe Photoshop and InDesign so that's all I use but I'm sure if Canva is your jam, there are tons of people who love creating planners in that tool. XO Lisa
Vervante has horrible customer service overall. They sent over a file with a quote which took about one week and when asked to confirm whether the quote was accurate, they asked me to send the file back to them. I was confused since this is their file to begin with. After much back and forth not being able to read a pdf file on their end, I gave up. The time and energy it took to just get a quote was frustrating. It also took customer service two business days to respond to any email and I haven't had a real answer from them. I'm going to work with Printswell instead since their prices are about the same, but at least customer service was amazing!
I'm having a similar bad experience, the one account rep they seem to have is very unhelpful and tells half truths about what they offer. The site clearly says and I quote "We accept orders from ANY shopping cart" but when i tried to setup the shopping cart integration with shopify based on the instructions from their website it didn't work because the shopify platform has changed. Then I was told they got those steps from customers that figured out how to do the integration and that they do not use Shopify or a shopping cart. What? What does that mean? I don't know I'm just getting started and only had four order with them so I'm going to keep looking around. Very disappointing because they have a good catalog of products but it is also very pricey too and in this economy that isn't going to help with sales.
I have been having a horrible experience with Vervante. They keep raising their prices without telling me after we agreed on a price. Any recommendations for other reputable and affordable printers?
Hi JM: Sorry to hear you're not having the best experience with Vervante. I've never had a problem - did you get your quote in writing? I've only had prices change on me if I waited too long between receiving the quote and submitting the order. I believe the quotes are only good for one week since supply prices change on their end from month to month. As for other printers, I have an entire list of printers in Planner Academy at programs.prettyfabulousdesigns.com/boss-school-planner-academy And another list of 5 more print + supply vendors in plannerpixies.com/ XO Lisa
@@PrettyFabulousDesigns they never provide me with written contracts. They just send quotes via email. The first time it was because they didn't tell me I had 30 days to accept their quote. They did end up honoring the original quote even though they said they would lose money. A week ago I needed to submit a correction for some typos on that same planner I have been selling since December. Also I asked for a quote if I changed the covers to thicker cardboard stock. They never said they were going to double the cost for the planners even if I didn't change the covers. No specs for the planners changed- just spelling typos. Now they are refusing to allow me to sell at the price I was originally selling the planners for and I am going to lose a lot of money on each planner. I don't see how anyone makes a profit with Vervante unless you sell a planner for $60 to $80 dollars. Thank you for the links.
