I love how real you are . This is what college is really like 😂 I hate college vlogs that are incredibly unrealistic. Because the truth is the majority of us are broke, stressed, and barely have enough time to get some makeup on before we walk out the door. Keep your head up and get through school 💪🏼 you can do it !

Aww I took computer science classes back in college too, and totally relate. Sad to hear you had to go through that. It literally took me 6+ hours to finish those coding projects!

Oh no! I know this is an old video but I could see the tears trying to come when you talked about your damaged laptop, I would have been SO stressed - filming would have been the last thing on my mind. Thank you so much for providing a realistic glimpse into college life. I've only been in a little over two months and the struggle is so real. Hopefully, things are better now!!
I know what happened with your laptop can be so upsetting. But I think there is great news! I am in a team project with a girl who has a really cute, small Dell laptop and she said it cost only $150! I know it's not a Mac, but it is so much more affordable and it can be a great temporary replacement until you can buy the laptop you want! Also, check out your campus libraries! You could probably use them for the time being, too! I hope this helps you, Abby.

Abby this is literally how i have felt all week too, i totally understand and it sucks! I had the flu for all of last week so i missed every class, and being a CS and math major, that is probably the worst thing that can happen... I wasn't able to study as much as i could for two of the midterms i've had this week and i definitely am not expecting good grades... but hey shit happens to all of us, but it's just one little bump in the road :) Everything will be better before you know it!

A day before my roomie and I started at a new university she put her laptop on top of my car and forgot it there. 10 minutes later when we were just about to merge onto the highway, I saw it fly off the back of my car. We were luckily able to grab it but the screen was shattered. Since it was too expensive to fix, she just used some scotch tape to keep the glass from falling out. Over a year and a half later, she's still using the same laptop haha
that same thing happened to me if your screen went all fussy and psychedelic its because you graphics chip dislodged. thats an easy fix just turn off you computer, open up the back and reinsert the graphis chip and that should help. Macs are really sensitive
Send your laptop into Apple they give you credit towards a new one

OR buy a refurbished one. they do a lot of part replacement and the warranty is pretty good.
Uhhhh my Macbook has lasted longer than any Windows laptop I've ever had. My last 4 laptops had issues with the screen without me even doing anything to them... Now I've had this Macbook for almost 3 years with little to no problems.
First video I have seen of yours and I almost cried.

I use final cut pro but i used imovie for a while... make sure you're importing them directly into imovie if thats what youre using!

Use google docs, slides, Project whatever it saves all the time while ur working it will literally save ur life and ur docs can be used on any computer just login into a google email!!!

I know this is old, but the exact same thing happened to me out of nowhere. Screen would still work when hooked up to an hdmi and nothing else. Sent it to geek squad and they said it would be $700 for a new display, refused to pay that and they sent it back. My mom harassed them and they fixed it, all it was was a disconnected cord in the motherboard, all i paid was $35. There was literally nothing wrong otherwise with my display
I hate when that happens! Recently, I wrote an essay the night before and thought I turned it in. I checked on it the next morning and it didn't send to my professor AND it didn't save. I had around 30 minutes to rewrite it before it was due. I couldn't remember half of what I wrote so I had to BS it. Im so happy you found a way to make it work!

Omg had such a terrible day yesterday. I'm supposed to be assigned to a school to assist teachers for part of my major (and I have to do it to graduate) and I havent been assigned yet. They're having issues with my schedule because I have this class Monday that has some Wednesday field trips (I'm supposed to go every Wed.). I told them the only day I'm available (because they want you to be free from 7AM to 4 PM) is Friday yet they are having trouble and I'm freaking out and dont know what to do! Then found out my friend got hired for the job that I wanted (I'm still proud of her but it sucks when you dont have a car so you try to get a job on campus and this job can help for your future career (children's librarian)) and that sucks. Plus found out that I'm getting points taking off since I can't attend this week's field trip because I have orientation for that teaching thing and I'm gonna have to make it up. It's just a lot going on. Sorry, had to rant
