lol, ya race gas is way to expensive. It has a vertex high compression piston so I can run race gas but the bike runs mint on pump 91 so thanks for the idea I will have to try that out!
Race gas only helps if you have high compression. But the ethanol free race fuel is better quality fuel to run in the bike. Two strokes when they get engine work and set up for high compression got to run race fuel or else they ping and detonate and will ruin the engine.
All very true but I just wanted to see if it made a difference in a stock 250 4stroke, and it has fairly high compression at 13.75:1 and the high compression piston from vertex is 14:1. This was more of a will it or want it for a stock 4 stroke but I hope to be getting a 125 in the future
@@dirtbikeparadise yz 125 is a great bike. If you were looking into a two stroke 250 I would say 06 or newer yamaha yz250, 01-07 cr250. 01 cr250 had the best engines honda ever made, while the 02-07 had the last 3rd generation chassis and better suspension from factory.
I know someone that ran U4.4 in there stock 250 four stroke. It got so hot from motos it closed the gap on the plug. Almost like oxidized it. And fried the valves. It was a stock motor. Suppose to run T4 for a more stock set up motor. Just be careful and read up on everything
@@TysonKlose it does make a tiny difference but to be honest if you’re not racing at a high level where you’re trying to squeeze as much power out of the bike as possible or have a bike setup to only run on race gas than your better off saving your money.
I think its best to mix it with pump gas if you bike is stock, you’ll get that sweet smell and your 5 gallons for 90$ will last allot longer

Local race shops around me charge 120$ for 5 gallons of t4 highway Robbery if you ask me
Good comparison! Thanks. Be careful riding alone. I do at times as well. - NW Ohio - #Yamaha #Fox #Ford
Thanks!! ya I try not to do anything too risky
cool video thank you💪💪💪
Just picked up a pale of T4 for the first time i’ll come back and let you know what i think of it!
Sick!
So what you think out it?
@@iphone3gsdivine still haven’t cracked it yet, i’m up in north idaho so we’re just getting back to riding

@@dirtbikeparadise right on bro 👍💯. What type of 125 are you thinking (yz)?

Does it have that race fuel smell when burned?
Oh ya!!
Does the race gas help the motor run cooler too ?
I’m not 100% sure but I have read about possible cooler running temperatures with race gas due to its slower burn, but nothing concrete

no it’s Georgina

You only need race gas if you have high compression
My bike has 13.75:1 compression
Thats a myth
Or you want to keep your carb clean
