I only see great cards & a person who decided to put themselves out there so that we all could share in his joy of collecting. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing Chris.
Beautiful collection Chris. I’m a fan of the strip cards and you’ve got some great ones. I also love that your collection includes some lower grade as wrinkles show a life well lived. Imagine the journey those cards took to get into your hands. I always enjoy your videos.
People don’t appreciate how difficult it is to think, look, and talk at the same! 😅 Incredible collection! My favorites were Doby Rookie, Duke Snider RC, Satch, 52 Mays, 52 Hoyt, 49 Jackie, Mays RC, Newhouser (wow), Jackie Leaf Rookie, and that beautiful Hodges! Thanks for sharing!
You have a beautiful collection! I love worn cards cuz they show the love people had for them in the past. The pin holed cards are my favorite as I did that with my cardboard hero’s when I was a kid. 😊
Chris, I really enjoyed this video. I didn't see any "flex", just a guy with great taste in cards and a great eye giving us the treat of seeing his amazing collection. Great great content. Thanks!
Another really nice presentation of some fantastic cards, Chris. So many treasures, and you didn't even show some of your "favorites"! All 50 were phenomenal. Thanks for taking the time to share some of your beautiful and impressive collection. Well done. Take care, Rob.
Hi Chris - WOW - What a beautiful set of Baseball Cards. Thanks so much for showing these to all of us. I wold like to see in the future your 50 Favorite cards .Have a really good day. Barry
Wow your ‘52 Campy is a beautiful 3 - really looks sharp. Your Doby rookie is a beauty. The ‘49 Paige is one I dream of getting someday. ‘52 Topps Mathews is TOUGH - last card in the set and unlike the Mantle high number single printed and a true rookie. I know your tape and stickers signify how you acquired the card and what subsets they are in that you are collecting - what does the Emily face signify? Thanks for sharing - enjoyed seeing your best cards.
Hi Chris. You've got some real star cards in your top 50. I like your way of thinking Chris, they may not be the highest grade, but I love them anyways. You truly love your cards and that is the most important thing. I wish you all the best when you finally move your #1 card, that sure is a beauty. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon.
Great top 50 collection. Love the history of the 1953 Bowman proof card. The RC cola cans stacked like that remind me of the milk bottle game at a fair, makes me wish I had a ball.😅 Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic cards, Chris! You've worked hard for years assembling the collection you have, you should be excited and proud to share it, just as we all are at seeing it. Suggestion: I'd love to see you do a video on your color coding system (if that is in fact what those stickers represent). I'm trying to figure out one for myself and am curious how others keep track of theirs.
Chris- I’ve seen almost all your cards and I loved seeing them again! It’s amazing what you’ve collected over the years, I hope to have an amazing collection similar one day!
Chris, awesome job with your Top 50 video! We are PSA 1 Big-Head Joe DiMaggio #274 with Cartoons clubbies! Our cards are very similar, although yours might have a bit better eye appeal! Truly stunning Mays rookie card! This was so fun to watch, and so many stunning cards! 🤠👊
Tremendous cards. I really appreciate your humble manner through showing some real world class cards. Helps me root for you as you show them. Amazing stuff, Chris!
Great collection Chris! So many amazing cards! Its a tough video to do, between showing the card and not taking too much time on each, verifying the ranking, etc. You did a great job! Wow, loved the 52 Mathews and Mays side by side! Love the Dodger proof card! Super cool to have the Leaf and Bowman Robinson rookies! Great video, thanks for sharing!
Chris, I’m still waiting to publish my first UA-cam video. You did a great job on this video. Not only did you have to bring the cards up in order but you were also nice enough to discuss each one of the cards with us. Then you’re recording this on top of everything,. A lot going on and you did great. I hope my first video (preparing for) is even 10% as good as your’s. Will be a top 20-25 video or so. Maybe a player focus to start. Not totally sure yet but have a few ideas.
I'm hooked lol Wilt was only #38? I can't wait to see the top 10, I have the 56 Mantle, 2 Koufax rookies, and the 56 Mantle, have always wanted a Wilt the Stilt rookie
I can tell you one thing. And this comes from a guy who wouldn’t want a single card in this video: 1. I love it. Great cards and representation of vintage. 2. Love that you make it known it’s not a “favorite” top list 3. Passion. You love it and grade need not matter ! 4. I’ll vouch that you had that card! Now give us a top 50 favorite. :) 5. I’ll also vouch that trying to show a card, talk, and keep track of what number you’re on is TOUGH!
@@chrisfrommissouri haha HOF autographs…. My vintage is signed postcards, checks, documents. All the greats. Basketball and baseball. On the cards end, just some auto sets and 90’s inserts. For whatever reason, I never got into vintage cards. But as a die hard collector (who knows the names, the stories, and the cards). I can appreciate it all!
Really enjoyed your video. I live overseas now but originally from southwest Missouri. I appreciate what you say at the end of your videos also. Thanks!
Wow what a beautiful collection. Thats a great collection of 50 cards to be very proud of. How would someone go about connecting with you new to the hobby to ask a few questions?
What a lineup. I think your PSA 1's and 2's are more beautiful than the PSA 10 foil refractor prism etc. ultramodern cards that create a bidding frenzy by stamping "1/1" on the back. As far as I'm concerned, every vintage card in my collection is a 1/1.
What an awesome collection. I too collect Patrick Mahomes. Would you want to sell your leaf Stan Musial? I have the bowman but not the leaf. Thank you for sharing
In value my “top” card would be at your number 50 maybe, which means I don’t have any business making this type of vid. So thank you very much for letting me see the awesome cards in your collection, that I don’t see every day.
I'm just tuning in Chris, The Mantle card in picture got my attention, Mantle was my dads guy, he died in 94 at 44, I hope he's proud that I'm collecting Mantle cards and a lot of his other Childhood heroes
Wow. Pretty impressive. This felt like when as a kid you wanted to show Bill Almon cards to your parents. And usually the favorite cards are not necessarily the most valuable ones. The gold border Mathewson was probably my favorite card. No way Im ever chasing any of these but it's fun watching. The only ones I even have a replica of is the Mantle 1991 Topps 1953 Archives set. I'll take that cheap one.
Why not show your 50 favorite cards? Also, if you're going to rank them by dollar value, why not share those values? What is the significance of the colored bits of tape?
Exciting countdown! Keeping the card love alive was fantastic!
Was like a mini museum tour Sir!!!!! Thanks for the view👏👏👏👏💎
I only see great cards & a person who decided to put themselves out there so that we all could share in his joy of collecting. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing Chris.
Thanks for the kind words

You have a beautiful collection! I love worn cards cuz they show the love people had for them in the past. The pin holed cards are my favorite as I did that with my cardboard hero’s when I was a kid. 😊

Chris, I really enjoyed this video. I didn't see any "flex", just a guy with great taste in cards and a great eye giving us the treat of seeing his amazing collection. Great great content. Thanks!
Very nice display of cards in your top 50, thanks for sharing.
I don't think I've ever seen that Bowman Dodgers proof. Cool cards!
Beautiful collection! Thanks for sharing!
#TheHobbyist
Love that Doby RC. This was amazing. Not a flex at all, just a great collection. That 53 Mantle is wonderful. Jackie Leaf!!!
Awesome cards,thanks for sharing.
Phenomenal top 50, Chris! Really enjoyed it. The Mays and Jackie rookies are off the charts

You have the best collection I've seen in person except for maybe Coops, but I only saw part of his. I need to come see them again.

Outstanding list!
Great closing advice!
That Ruth would be my number 1. It's quite rare. Never seen it before.
Amazing showing Chris 👏
Really enjoyed it

Springfield
Great video. Great cards. Hope your dog doesn’t find out he might be on the trading block.
Cool RC cans on the wall
Awesome collection Chris! That Dodgers proof card is a true rare gem. Hope all works out with the sale or whatever you do with the card.
thanks my friend

I collect alot of my Dads favorites
@@chrisfrommissouri that's cool, I think I have 8 Mantle cards total, 56 Topps is the best one, won't ever be able to afford a 53 to 55
Wow. Pretty impressive.

The gold border Mathewson was probably my favorite card. No way Im ever chasing any of these but it's fun watching.

How are you assessing value? Market movers?
He said he used VCP.
Latest VCP
Thank you
Why not show your 50 favorite cards? Also, if you're going to rank them by dollar value, why not share those values? What is the significance of the colored bits of tape?
Color tape is to remind me of the reason for the card
Run, set, etc
Awesome cards!!!!
