@@eerieeric834 It's new fusion monster have triple foolish so even if the horsea gets ashed you can still set up the grave easily, and it can banish itself from grave to search for any Memento card from your deck. The sheep allows you to fusion twice since memento fusion is hopt, and it is also a walking foolish further setting up your grave to summon your big boy dragon. You can also summon sheep on opponent turn to fuse into twin dragon to search mace and goblin for snatch steal and target protection. Their new end board have pop 3 from new fusion and horned dragon, pop 2 from fracture dance, snatch steal from mace, 5 monster negate from cranium burst and Angwitch in grave for follow up. (But whether that is better than S:P and Guardian Chimera line is still up for debate) While they still dies to Maxx C and your opponent can still Kaiju your Combined Creation, turning off most your negates and interruption, but with Kaiju being pretty uncommon and Maxx C banned Memento is much more consistent and resilient to interruption.
Why does everyone say the Mace is a Snatch Steal when it isn’t permanent, isn’t an equip, and doesn’t cost LP? If anything it’s a quick play Change of Heart.
The INFO combo actually drops those two for a more pure end board. I think some people are trying to sneak in that Top Hate Hare card and it's related trap
Love that Memento didnt get hit with the UR tax, though Dkayd has stated the INFO support would be UR in the discord so we going up at least 90 UR, but thats nothing compared to some decks If you havent you really should try the Crystal Meth Boner Dragon deck
@davidjimenez3822 actually sheep is a 1-2 Combined Conquerer is a two of. Mostly because you want to make one CC2 and send the other with the first's triple foolish ability to garuntee the field spell
I wouldn't even say Ash or Maxx C are the biggest problem with the Deck (though Maxx C is pretty bad, Mementos can play through Ash and Veiler with certain hands). The biggest problem is that the Deck has a crippling weakness to cards like Triple Tactics Talents and Super Poly since all of your endboards revolves around having a boss monster that your opponent can simply non-target remove
What do you mean? Memento cards can't be super poly unless the support is out, just look at creation it's a freaking earth goodluck super poly that also TTT don't do shit againts Memento unless they are force to use a monster effect because most of the negate comes from the trap
@@jetherarroz1118 The Super Poly situation is just bad luck, but it's really bad luck situations that make the Deck feel awful to play in ladder. As for TTT? Combined Creation literally has an effect that lets you Summon a Memento monster from your hand or GY after your opponent activates an effect. You always want to use this effect to help press advantage and have better interaction with your opponent if they can threaten your boardstate when cards like Cranium aren't enough. It turns out that TTT is a real-enough card to make you regret doing that in the first place and turn it into a scoop. Boardbreakers are definitely not as popular as Handtraps, but Memento is much more vulnerable to Boardbreakers than they are Handtraps because of the fact that removing that one endboard boss is enough to turn off almost all of your ability to play the game (which again, feels really awful). In fact, the fact that cards like TTT and Super Poly with an EARTH monster on the field aren't even common in the first place just makes it feel that much worse when you do get hit by it in Ranked since there's really no way you can actually play around them
The combo is inefficient. Its easier to pivot into Goblin (send Goblin off Tatsu, add it back off Ghattic, Angwitch to pop itself and summon Mace, Mace eff to pop itself and add Fusion, Fusion to return Tatsu and Mace, Twin eff popping Goblin in hand (adding Mace and Horned Dragon), pop Twin with Fusion to add Field, Summon Goblin off Twin, activate Field, Summon Dragon, Goblin eff to pop Dragon and send Combined and Cranium). This gets you to the exact same end-board as the video, but gives you one further form of interruption using Mace's Quick effect to Snatch on your opponent's turn.
U can also try & make Herald of Mirage lights for a Spell/trap negate. I pulled 3 Angwitch with 2 of them being Royals, I was forced to play this deck.
I’m not a big fan of one minute overview or the part of “what this deck can do” because I’m not very good at picking up combo lines without doing them and listening to “do this effect to do this and then that and then this” without hearing what the effects are is like only catering to the audience that is already very aware of what the deck is doing
Nevermind, for anyone else that didn't know: the boss summoms back the angwitch in grave when the opponent uses a card , then angwitch adds mace to your hand
I did the mirror in the event and used mace to steal their combined so i was able to have 10 monster negates xD and you can opt into unchained which has a similar end board. What i like is that it seems everyone has a different way to play the deck ive seen several videos and they all seem slightly different.

Plus having mace in your hand is a quick effect change of heart to use IP and the monster to make little knight and banish something

Just put memento together and omg they are such a fun deck that looks absolutely awkward but performs surprisingly well
