I'm a retired Police Officer and I have this question.......in the South (and the North) do they " not " screen potential candidates , I was. I have to point out, however, that I was never asked if I was a racist. I found that odd. Here we see 6 racist officers, " 6", really....clearly this police agency needs to be further investigated ......just say'n.
And the rest of the guys they worked with are exactly like them. Except they haven't been caught yet.
I had a history professor who explained how the cops were the mob during prohibition. And they're still that way. They regulate the crime, they don't fight it.
What difference would that make I could be racist and say that I'm not racist you need something more probing and deeper than a screening. Police officers need to be thoroughly followed checked agency needs to know who they are affiliated with and their activities. The police forces and the fire departments are full of guys that are associated with all kinds of organizations from organized crime to your local skinhead gang a simple screening is not enough. I really love David Muir, the way he gets important information across to all of us in a very dignified but delightful manner and he does not try to be hesitant in his messages but straight and to the point. Such a very nice and pleasant man.
