Pro tip! Whenever you start out using an air box, don’t fill it full of seed until you know it’s gonna work 😂 How did the oats come up? The only time I had any luck getting wheat or triticale coming up by spreading it, was I turned cows out to let them clean up the cotton stalks and they tromped the seed in. That clover probably it came up good. It just needs a tickle and it will come up.
Luckily we only put in about 4 bags of that clover to try it out.. 😂 The clover is definitely growing like wildfire! As far as the oats, we’ve only just gotten a rain about a week ago. We’re seeing a lot of it sprouting now. Hope it doesn’t frost soon! I think this rig is going to work.. lol
@@salisburyfarmsI have hope for you. But it’s never worked for me. It’s why I bought a drill and plant between the rows. Then strip till before planting.
Good luck seeding your cover crops Jay and Randy

You should be able to us the seeder for planting wheat also. Just a thought.
Dad used to do wheat beans. I’ve never had the pleasure of planting or harvesting wheat. Not much of a market for it around us unfortunately.
Sorry to hear your having a family situation .
Appreciate that. Thanks for always watchin’.

Before it’s over we may end up with a Kelly diamond harrow or a Philip… throws more dirt.
We will just have to wait and see!
Mud dawbbers plugged the alfalfa tubes on our drill and we would have to run a rag tied to a wire through the tubes before we started to seed.
Unreal.
I feel your pain lol 😂
