Congrats on 7K! I 100% agree that there needs to be less judgment and more acceptance that we all want what’s best for our unique children. I use both secular and religious curriculum and some people’s first comment when I talk about a secular curriculum is “is this curriculum Christian?” I think more appropriate questions are “does this curriculum fit my child’s unique needs?” or “does this curriculum have a worldview that I want my child to learn?”

Congrats on your growing channel! You’re so right about making an income from UA-cam. My husband had a pretty successful channel for the genre he was in and never made a dime. He did meet a lot of amazing people and partner with some great brands. A lot of people that haven’t done UA-cam don’t realize just how difficult and time consuming it is. Thanks for all the work you put into it to provide content for new homeschoolers like me.

I’m also not religious but my 11 year old son loves Christianity so I incorporate secular and religious curriculum.
I find it so odd that people are so stuck in their way within their religion that they say all other religions are bad…looking in from the outside it’s crazy because one core principal of most religions is not to judge others?!?? 😂🤦🏻♀️

Loved this video so much! I agree with the black and white thinking of a lot of the homeschool channels on here. When I first started homeschooling UA-cam was a major resource for me, but there were a lot of channels that had very strong opinions that stressed me out. So grateful to have found yours! It’s nice to have someone to provide resources that is also a relatable chill person :)

100% agree with how judgemental both sides are!
We aren't a religious family, so I try to stick with secular/neutral curriculums but the secular groups/podcasts/pages are SO judgemental and mean. They also tend to have very strict rules about other topics that have nothing to do with the definition of "secular"
