Mother Flowers what you say about Refusal to Forgive Self is so real. I became a teen mom at the age of 16. Knew God, loved God, brought up in church, mother, father and family who loved me. Thought I was in love. 2 daughters within 4 years with same guy because I thought I was in live. With my 2nd daughter I went into SEVERE Post-partum depression. My mom was so concerned about me and she said something that hit my spirit so hard (she or my Uncle - my Pastor). “God has forgiven you. You must forgive yourself” Man, that was the Spirit of God speaking. Those words LITERALLY saved my life!!!! Walking with God, sold out ever since!!! I know who I am In Christ!!! I am His Beloved Daughter and my past is just that….. my past. Born again. Filled with His Spirit and walking In His Spirit. Although I do Identify with what Paul said. I need to do more!!! So much within that I must release unto Him!!! Got to Press In!!! God has been Too Too Good!!!!
I am trying to forgive myself. Please pray for me.
I discovered my purpose to be a servant of God and I am unlearning the mindset I used to abide by. Lord, may you transform my mind to replicate your word. For my flesh is weak, however your spirit is agape. True love. Amen.
I got three wake up calls from our Father telling me to pray and reach out to my best friend. I was in my feelings about something we were going through and I did not call her. But I prayed for her and her family three days I was woken up at 3 a.m. the fourth day her mother called me and told me she died. The pain in my heart was so horrible. I had to ask God to forgive me and I also forgave myself. But I miss my best friend. NOV 14-2023. LOVE YOU JASMIN!
You never know the mental pain people are facing.

34:47 She’s saying things that make you really stop and think. So I think the quietness of the crowd is more people being awestruck. At least that’s what it is for me.
I also had panic attacks after my best friend died. I always told him that I was going to go visit him in New York and he died before that. I felt guilty for not trying hard enough to meet him in person ! I spent 2 years depression in the dark ! I just forgave myself and got baptisted

I'm listening and watching this at my workplace and I want to cry so hard but I can't. Everything you said, Mrs. Flowers, were so on point! Straight to my heart. I felt guilty when you said, we don't talk "negative words" to children [or other people] but we say all the worst things to ourselves. I am guilty of that.

You can’t trust your flesh.
I say thank you to the lord for this sermon. I too suffered from guilt and it diminished my health slowly. It took years to heal and get through to understanding and forging myself. I love that you used the word “Witness” I too witnessed and did not followed through I couldn’t stand the thought of myself for a long time for not understanding and trusting sooner.
