SImple but really fitting for the floor! I just think he could maybe need a slight HP nerf to feel more vanilla tho. 600 is quite a lot for chapter 2 even if it's a simple fight (Mega Maw has 350)

I think it would've been fitting to have the second phase of this fight take place in a room affected by Curse of Darkness, with its lure being the only strong light source

No, First phase, If you were to do it at all. Don’t up the difficulty of the already more difficult section by making it more complicated. It’s a nice, Vanilla feeling boss. That would wind up with some moments of stupid damage, Were it to be phase two.

This can combine very well with fiend folio. Because fiend folio ads many sea and ocean creatures to flooded caves(such as squids, anemones, clams, or dolphins)
