Natural gas also has & leaves a much smaller footprint on the land than oil. I can see that when I drive through the oil & gas fields. It also does not take up the acres & acres of land needed by flora & fauna that fields of solar panels do & does not slaughter avian species the way wind generators do.
USA pulls more light crude out of the ground proportional to what they use. They sell the light oil (which is worth more) on the world market and buy the heavier oils that they need. It's kind of like selling the icing on your cake to a rich fat kid when all you really wanted was the middle anyhow.
'Way cleaner than coal'. I believed that too, until I began looking into leaky and shoddy infrastructure that consistently vents heavy amounts of methane into the atmosphere. Industrial irresponsibility must be solved before this energy source can be considered 'clean'.
Do you know how much electricity is wasted/lost while being transported to your home. Look it up. Electricity depending on how it was made could be much worse than natural gas considering so much of it is lost while traveling through lines.
@@Savsal12 I fully understand about line-loss, and the various versions of unclean generation. It's not a perfect system and the world hasn't solved that problem yet. I was only cautioning against proclaiming natural gas as the second coming of Christ BEFORE we have the shoddy leakage problems solved. I like cleaner generation too, but I'm not going to green-wash it, by saying we've used it responsibly.. yet. Cheers and thank you for the comment.
Data is wrong Russia has biggest natural resources with over 1.4 T reserves

That's why the Nord stream pipeline was destroyed
Why usa is still buying natural gas from the Middle East even though they have the most
Refineries

To deny Europeans the direct access from supply; then sell the Nat Gas to Europe at x5 price.
And Canada
USA! USA! USA! Cooking with gas baby, yeah.
And they the ones teaching us about climate change

Natural gas IS still the cleanest, bad infrastructure is separate from the actual fact he stated.

@@Silentcharlie88 Yeah, but you can't use the one without the other, so you have to include both when you talk about using methane.
Reserve means squat. What is used up or sold is everything. 😅 😂
DRILL BABY DRILL MAGA MAGA MAGA
So why do we pay so much.?!?
Sounds good!😊
Nah. You left out Pakistan and Venezuala. Look at history and look at the news. And their estimated reserves
US Propaganda video. Cause US residents now paying high for natural gas despite having so much natural gas, most likely not true.
