These are some of the most specific and useful tutorials out there, thank you ! I’d be interested in what you have to say about drop-knee turns and techniques or drills regarding how best to cross-step backwards into them.
Great tutorial! Thanks for pointing out the difference in walking between fast low tide waves and slower ones. This has definitely been an issue for me. Now I know it is OK to race forward on those low tide waves!
thank you soooo much!! this kinda of video is perfect for people like me who have been surfing for a while and can cross step but have a hard time getting to the nose.

Great tutorial, never gave the number of steps much thought regarding wave state and trim….every day’s a school day! 👍🤟🇬🇧

I vote for both videos, though drills > further explanation of first video for me! Keep up the good work!
This is so good! Been trying for a year without success...!
Please do a video about choosing a board and fins. Thanks!
Will pop it on the list
So grateful for your channel. For those of us learning to cross step, do you look at the stringer to step or do you only look at the waves ? 🙏
I try and focus on the lip of the wave ahead of me. Some of the best nose riders there are will watch their feet.
@@TenToesSurf Thank You !!!
