I'm an 58 yr old ex-beer/whisky drinking fool, ex-street fighting, ex-women chaser, retired construction working electrician and this song actually made me cry like a baby. The emotions I felt blew my mind. I pray that makes the creator of this piece feel like they achieved their goal of touching a person's soul. 🙏
I am always moved by this song. I listened to it a lot when a dear family friend and mentor passed from a really aggressive form of bone cancer. He was a brilliant physician and an avid sailor, building his own kayaks and sailing his sloop down the Atlantic coast. That's what I picture in my mind when I listen to this song, is his final voyage aboard the Tipsy Lady, navigating rough sea swells and rain storms to arrive at the other side on calm waters as he gently glides off into the sunset. It brings me peace of mind and a smile to my face. I hope he's out there on the water, doing one of the things he loved most in this life.

M83 is the only artist who takes me to a different world. A better world where everyone gets along with each other and lives without worries, anxiety, depression, poverty. A world where love and compassion aren't overseen by money and status. Where Ambition comes in togetherness rather than pointless wars. A dream world.

It feels like heartbreak after a breakup. Knowing that you will never have this person next to you again in the mornings. To look into the eyes. and all the memories in your head
Graduated High School a month ago (May 23, 2024) been reminiscing my school life from Kinder to now. I had a good time. Kind of. Pretty sad to leave but maybe this is the start of my life. I’ll be able to do a lot of things that I’ve always wanted to do.
hey there friend, i know you've been having some troubles recently. be the person i know you can be, don't leave anything up to chance. i believe in you pal, we ALL believe in you. ur a winner kiddo. don't you ever forget
Imagine this: You wake up in a hospital bed. You can't remember how you got there but all you know is that you're being wheeled somewhere. Everyone seems to be panicking over you, but everything just seems to go in slow motion. All the noise and shouting is, kind of lost to you. You just drift in this strange, calm feeling you have with yourself, and smile at all the people looking and panicking over you. You blackout. You aren't exactly sure for how long for, it could be seconds, minutes, hours, days. You wake up in a white plain. You look around, and you can't see anything. But then, somebody stands up. It's one of the very same doctors who was panicking over you earlier. He stands there, smiling a warm, inviting smile at you as he starts clapping for you. Suddenly, things begin to materialize around you. The same hospital you were in, but all that panic has gone and drifted away. You realise that you aren't on this earth any longer, but you realise something. All of these people are celebrating your life and all you've accomplished and achieved with your time on earth. You pass through this hospital, smiling as everyone claps and cheers for you admiring and celebrating the life you've lived. You eventually get out of the hospital, and you enter somewhere else: you're in your old school now, with many friends you feel you lost touch with over the years you were on this earth. You smile at them, remembering the many good times you had together. And remembering how you lost touch over the years, but you know that now isn't the time to harbor regrets about things, so you let them go. And they keep on cheering for you, because they know that you were somebody incredible. Memories of your entire life coursing through your mind, and tears start to flow down your face. Tears of joy, tears of sadness, tears of every single thing you've ever experienced, and as these memories come back to you and completely fill you up, you feel this weird invigoration. You step outside. Everyone you knew is there on your street, all clapping, all cheering. You hug many of them, and you just let go off any burdens you had weighing you down before. And you begin to float. You begin to float off the ground as you let go of every regret and forgive everyone who wronged you in your life. And as you float up, you can see everything! Your street below you, all of the many places you liked and visited about where you lived, and you decide to go back down! Going back down, the most important people in your life, the good and the bad come through. Your best friend, any bullies that may have hurt you in the past, your cousins, your siblings, everybody comes over to see you. The sun shines down upon all of you, not too hot but not cold either. Just that nice evening feeling you get in the summer. Finally, after you've forgiven all of these people, and reminisced with them for however long you need to, the most important people in your life come to the front: your parents. You apologize for anything you might've done, and they forgive you, and they apologize for anything they might've done wrong. You hug and embrace them, and as you start to worry about not being there with them, they whisper something in your ear. "We miss you. Of course we do, but we know that you're always with us in our hearts. Now, and forever."
Ohio. Want to hear something mind-blowing??? I have a nearly IDENTICAL set of mental imagery, for the Owl City song: this is the future. Please go listen, and give me your thoughts! You blew my mind! 🤯🤯🤯
This song made me essentially question everything I've ever known, because, it was right. I am "the king of my own land". I gave up my religion, took interest in astronomy, and now, feel happier than I ever have before.
This is an inspiring comment... My hope is that one day" man" will stop looking in books for answers , and turn their eyes toward the stars to find how to ask the right questions!
Having this song blowing thru your air pods while plunging the last shot of the night into the vein you know will be your last. This song fits perfectly. Overdose is bliss no person shouldn't feel at least once. Especially leaving this world for its last. Would be so much better
Whenever I ask myself what I feel about this song, I always answer to myself, “This is the outro of everything. It’s bittersweet and hauntingly beautiful. I feel like I am in every corner and time period of the world all at the same time.”

*ESSA MÚSICA É SENSACIONAL, DÁ MUITO NOSTALGIA! REALMENTE, TEMPO PASSA RÁPIDO DEMAIS. 2012 FOI "ONTEM".*
Até que em fim um Br!!
10 anos Brow. Passa em um piscar de olhos e quando a gente vê já estamos velhos. A vida é curta, viva
Agora tudo faz sentido! É sempre presente.
Só tinha 5 anos naquela época 😔
Hoje o tempo voa
I love this song, I heard it first on the finale episode of Mr Robot, one of the best shows ever.
I cannot get this beautiful M83 creation out of my head.
I keep seeing DEATH...and I walk, with certain steps towards it.
I hear our CREATOR SPEAK the TRUTH..."...now and FOREVER, I'M your KING!"
And I begin to PRAISE HIS NAME!
This is one of the few songs that are so incredible that it sends chills down your spine
Now used for the legendary Kerbal Space Program 2 reveal trailer
Great choice.
my life is so much better due to this song! i'm so grateful to listen to it.😊😊
Everything your feeling when you listen to this was at one point what your ancestors felt like. A timeline of triumphs, sorrow, pain, and survival
M83 is the only artist who takes me to a different world. A better world where everyone gets along with each other and lives without worries, anxiety, depression, poverty. A world where love and compassion aren't overseen by money and status. Where Ambition comes in togetherness rather than pointless wars.
A dream world.
You should try Wagner
This came on Pandora while I was riding the train into work today. Today was the day I told everyone I'm leaving my job. Glad this popped on. Seemed to fit my mood and gave me motivation to tell people. :-) Great song!
How has life been going since?
Downhill...
+Trevor Morgan What ? why ?😦

M83 this has to be the best music there was for Ragnarok I love this
Can’t stop listening to this! I feel empowered. Where did you guys go?!
I feel the emotion of something devastating has happened and it took so long to get passed that emotion and finally he broke free and set himself on a journey that leads to a better understanding of life and acceptance that not everyone will be here forever but they will forever be here with you.
There is a natural order to this world, and those who try to upend it do not fare well
What is an ocean, but a multitude of drops?
+Kiran Kumar this quote is my smartphone background
I quoted this to my wife after having to rearrange the dishwasher
True Power was granted when the wave realized it is the Ocean
WE UPEND IT.... THEIR UNNATURAL ORDER (FROM CHAOS TO PEACE) - FIGHT UNTIL THE END...
Thanks to Anthony Gonzalez to share his music with the world. That song gives me feelings that I can't control every time I listen to it. It is truly a masterpiece and I love this song and the album.
For some reason this always makes me think of David Attenborough, the stunning scenes of life he's captured, his undying love for all creatures and the well being of our planet. ❤
chills. pure chills. this is amazing.
It feels like heartbreak after a breakup. Knowing that you will never have this person next to you again in the mornings. To look into the eyes. and all the memories in your head
I'm here in 2091 . We have left earth ! And I miss it dearly
I can't get over this piece of music, the video almost had me in tears
Wish i wasn't so numb, i feel nothing but appreciate it as a really chilled track. Meds, stop me being able to feel. Great movie by the way.....
Imagine this:
You wake up in a hospital bed.
Man i have been suffering from deppression for the last 6 months and you and this music did something i havn't done in so long. I smiled. thank you.
@@Grr33nie ... thanks man im crying rn you're welcome.
you should watch Mr Robot. That you described is literary the end of the series with this song as soundtrack.
Ohio. Want to hear something mind-blowing??? I have a nearly IDENTICAL set of mental imagery, for the Owl City song: this is the future.
Please go listen, and give me your thoughts! You blew my mind! 🤯🤯🤯
MARAVILLOSO!!!! 🙏♥️💜🌟✨
This song made me essentially question everything I've ever known, because, it was right. I am "the king of my own land". I gave up my religion, took interest in astronomy, and now, feel happier than I ever have before.
Actually, there´s more chances to know God by looking the stars than
subscribing to a religion.
PezunaProducciones You are freakin wrong!:-!
Fernando Jose Calvario I like asparagus, I didn't know there was a syndrome for it though...?
This is an inspiring comment... My hope is that one day" man" will stop looking in books for answers , and turn their eyes toward the stars to find how to ask the right questions!
House Hereseed Man did start by looking at the stars, then wrote book about them.
Que música nostálgica! Descobri através da serie Versalles.🇧🇷

Having this song blowing thru your air pods while plunging the last shot of the night into the vein you know will be your last. This song fits perfectly. Overdose is bliss no person shouldn't feel at least once. Especially leaving this world for its last. Would be so much better
A song me and my siblings would have probably have listened to when we were young.
This music released 11 years ago, yet it's only now that it got heard daily in YT Shorts
This song suits perfectly with Cloud Atlas !
One on my favorite song with one of my favorite movie !
This song actually scares me because it literally makes me think of the end of time
Y porque no al revés? En algo positivo?
@@ikermunozdiezin a way is the end of time not positive?
Whenever I ask myself what I feel about this song, I always answer to myself, “This is the outro of everything. It’s bittersweet and hauntingly beautiful. It’s a powerful and touching tribute to all that has happened in our world, from its formation over 4 billion years ago, to the future, every single event that has ever happened on planet Earth, I feel rushing through me. I feel like I am in every corner and time period of the world all at the same time.”
This song, The Oppenheimer theme, and The Interstellar theme are on a whole other level of music.
This song make me cry :')
Yeah same for me but not sad cry, more like happy cry. This song brings me huge nostalgia and good feelings.
