I listened to Trista’s interview now, post Nasrallah assassination. Can the Makdisi folks bring him now, after the current eruptive events??
Viva The Resistance Always
My Question, how long can Israel hold on financially? I feel a successful brics meeting means bad news for the west.
Indefinitely. America has the money printing machine.
Imminent bankruptcy.. All customers fled.
@@donmiester45the US is losing that printing machine with BRICS. The escalations are no doubt timed to disrupt the BRICS conference at the end of October too
Iran once learned that it’s alone in defending itself during the Iran-Iraq war. So they went about building their missiles. Now it is learning that the resistance is alone. I think what is clear from this conflict is the defensive mechanisms in place that can defend the skis of the resistance territories. Also intelligence failures.
It may be a defeat now but I hope it will lead to the Iranians increasing their strengths in defence front as well.
Remarkably prescient discussion considering that it took place a couple of days before the major escalatory event.
One question I would have asked after Trita explained why Iran hasn't come to Lebanon and/or Gaza's defense in earnest: Despite the inner turmoil Iran is facing, and despite the fact that the US would immediately enter the war if Iran did - wouldn't the one factor in Iran's favor be that, just like Israel would have the US behind it, Iran would have Russia's backing? Or would the ongoing war in Ukraine hold Russian involvement back?
Great job Makdisi bros. Excellent episode with a pre-eminent guest... wish it would have taken place post-Nasrallah assassination, would have been fascinating to hear his analysis
Great discussion. Thank you
Thank you even if very sad.
Great discussion
Thnx for the interview. Put the image of the interviewee in the thumbnail.
Its not easy , it's not fun
You have the very best Middle East podcast, in my opinion. I always learn something, as opposed to watching the usual hand-wringing. Thanks for your work.
Thank you.

Everything hurts my feelings
😅😂🤣😁
That was an incredible interview and discussion. Is so good to hear conflicting views debated calmly. It barely exists anymore in this polarized, dramatized, click-bait world.
Thank you. Very interesting discussion with new insights again. Very sad how the Lebanese and Palestinians have to suffer. 😢😢😢

GREAT GUEST
I like the Makdisis, but it's funny to see the brothers looking so much alike, yet anchoring the same show, as if they are one person, sometimes with beard and glasses and other times clean cut and shaven; it's just too funny !!!
Howling 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s always a pleasure to listen Trita Parsi. Thank you guys for having him on your podcast.
Iran is not on its best track yet unfortunately, we all understand that, and praying for the prosperity in that region! However , I hope Iran realizes that by eliminating its proxies one by one, the US/ israel will be moving closer and closer to them. Sorry, the eyes on Iranians now. I guess the Almighty chose them for this mission . We wish Arab countries would have done something significant for the resistance.
