It works , here are few instructions:
Preferably use a straw with those curly kinks at one end or the normal ones but should be little wide, when putting straw in , put it deep inside with only 2 cm outside, also if u wont put it deep inside , it may not work

I try very hard to deflate my daughter 7 years balloon and I couldn't, my kids ended up playing with it and it got busted at the end, with the help of the hacks, now I know how to deflate it with straw, will give it a try on her eight birthday coming soon. Thanks for sharing

It's very important to use an extra long straw to deflate. In my foil balloon, they gave a short straw which was enough to inflate but deflate didn't work because straw couldn't reach the glue strip opening.

Guys i found out how to do it, if it doesn't deflate when you stick the straw, that means it's not IN enough, go on until you hear a 'pop' sound,
