thank you but it is unclear on how you got the curl url, i have tried a lot of things like the airtable encoder tool, chatgpt etc and nothing works, either it sends the 200 code meaning its ok but does not fetches my data or it sends the 404 error. If you have a solution for this it would be highly appreciated.
Might want to check my newest a few mins in I talk about how to connect to Airtable :) it’s always a pain for me too!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you! I just input the entire airtable docs (this: airtable.com/developers/web/api/introduction) Just click on your base and tell chatgpt what fields you want to get back! I also give it the Voiceflow, if I'm having a lot of trouble.

Yo, what if a user doesn't have the name on the database? the get api doesn't call it like an error, it called it like a success and just keeps going with no data because the get api triggered successful but there is no data for the user on the database.

Really confused, i don't understand anything, just waste my time on this one. You go back and forth. I wasted my time I don't understand that.
Might be able to help if you elaborate, otherwise Voiceflow themselves have a great video on api calls!
Please elaborate further on the GPT part you mentioned. Watching the whole video and going back and forth is a waste of time even if one part is missing or unclear. How did you get the filterbyFormula GET request API key??

What if I have more than one record that corresponds to the condition given. response.records[0].fields.status will pull only the first record. What is difference that should be made if I have two records corresponding to John and I want to print both?
response.records[0].fields.status the "0" means the first in the list, [1] would mean the second one etc. ! GPT is great help for this kinda stuff : ). To print both that fit what you're looking for, you'll use [ ] which will return all the records and you can then filter them using some Javascript step (I use gpt for this as well )

It appears Airtable is fazing out API access in favor of personal access tokens. Any chance you can provide an update on how to implement this new method?

Great question! This is the way we connect whenever we use Airtable regardless of the use case! If you’re pushing or pulling data, should be the same setup :)
