This is absolutely not the Vedic idea. In Sanatana Dharma, atma does not rest, aatma is always active and continues to live either in this world in another incarnation, or in the spiritual world (Vaikuntha) involved in active service of the Lord. Kindly do not use “rip”, especially to a spiritually highly elevated being like Our Swamiji.
