Adding that I was going to recommend the mendenhall glacier but I see you've got a shot in the bonus section of that absolutely breathtaking gem. In the right season light will hit it just right and it appears to almost glow with a very pale pink in the sunset. I was fortunate enough to visit family at the right time and see that in all it's glory. Thanks again for sharing.
I spent almost my entire life in Alaska, but had to move away a few years ago. This video made me cry. I miss my home so much. It’s so beautiful there and you were able to capture it. When you said $8 for milk I laughed so hard! That was normal to me!!! Apparently it’s not normal in other places. 😂😂 I love your videos. Thank you for sharing! You two are so pure and magical. You have a breathtaking beautiful state. We were amazed at what we saw and experienced on our 2 hikes. We're so glad we didn't follow the crowd from our cruise ship and went hiking instead.
We get it. We raised our kids in Leona Valley, California, just in the foothills above the high desert. When we moved to Coeur d'Alene 20 years ago it was like going to a new world.

We'd love to hike with fellow chronologically gifted hikers! Are you day hikers or backpackers? Weekend hikers or retired daily hikers (or almost daily)? What kind of trails? What is your physical condition? Those are all important questions when selecting gear. I guess the closest we'll get to a book is our channel.
What kind of protection do you take on hikes? I prefer to have multiple forms because obviously worst case is you hurt an animal last resort is my firearm. Bear spray is a good one i keep and an air horn for loud noise to scare it off. Love yall!
