I'm from Bangalore and I've followed kl Rahul's growth when he played under vinay Kumar's captaincy in Ranji trophy... He was then the highest run scorer for Karnataka in Ranji trophy season after season... Karnataka went on to win both major domestic trophies that year... He was more of a test batsmen and less of a T20 player... Everyone thought he would become the next Rahul Dravid from Karnataka.. he got fame when he scored his maiden t20i century against West Indies and slowly adapted to the T20 game to become one of the best opener for Indian T20 side... If you guys followed his career from the start then u would know he should hve been regular in Indian test team rather than T20
