Best walkthrough of this model I’ve seen. Straight, to the point, no BS, cool and calm relaxing composure. This guy deserves a raise. Or someone else is gonna steal him.
I'm considering buying one of these and have watched many videos. This is, by far, the most thorough and informative one. Thank you! It's not perfect but for an
@@JeffErdmann , Class P RV -- I love it! This last summer, for the very first time in my life, I rented a Thor Rize 18M. Had it for two weeks. The build quality was sadly lacking, but the layout was great. I cook with a microwave, and it seems most small RVs do not have one. But my Prius RV does, powered by the Prius itself. And the Thor Rize also has a microwave, powered by the on-board generator. The Prius is much quieter, but the 18M was not too loud. Especially compared with other generators running in the campground. To cook supper, I only need to run it for roughly 5 minutes (depending on what I'm cooking). Comparing the two, the Prius gets around 45 mpg, the 18M got around 12 mpg (mountain driving). Both drive very well, and park easily. There's a lot more room inside the 18M, of course. Room to stand up. This difference is quite important in pouring rain! During heavy rain in the Prius you're pretty much stuck in place. In the 18M you can move around a little. It did leak on me (through the closed roof vent) in the middle of the night in the 18M. Never had any rain come into the Prius. I did not like the 18M table, and after the first time, stopped using it. I used the sink cover as a lap table the rest of the time. If the 18M was better build quality and not so expensive, I might consider buying one. Renting one seems to be the best option for me. Why? I'm getting older, and having a little more room than in the Prius is a big factor.
In terms of power off shore you didn't say anything about the solar panel. Did they take the solar panel off the 2023 model? It used to be a 190 watt panel

Everything is great in this camper van specially the restroom, except one major problem ( the bed ). Iam sure everyone will complain from the bed because when u assemble the bed it will be many prices, maybe six or eight, and by the days ur hands and feet will get in between the stupid pieces of sponge, u will damn the day u bought this camper because of the bed.
@@margaretmathis4775 Hi Margaret, you're right and we're sorry! This floorplan indeed has a black tank cassette for the toilet, accessible when the back doors are opened.
Hi Jeff, this unit has the option for a 12v/propane fridge! We are able to customize some aspects of our units as we order directly from the manufacturer. I hope this helps!
@AceRV to be clear, I assume the specific unit you were reviewing did not have the 12v/propane fridge. If/when it has the 12v/propane optional fridge where & how do they vent it?
@@JeffErdmann Hi Jeff, the unit would have a vent leading from the fridge to the exterior of the RV, similar to how the fridge/vent look and operate in bigger motorhomes!
Why have a generator if it can't run everything? And you said don't run the generator for more than three hours. A generator should be able to run non stop for as long as you need it. So what kind of generator is that. You said the battery is for minor things like the lights. That van is an expensive piece of garbage. Basically you have to be plugged in to get any real use out of the van. You can't even boondock with a generator not recommended to run for more than three hours at a time. You also said dump the toilet cassette in the sewer. That's illegal. You're supposed to dump those cassettes in a dump station or in a bathroom toilet not the sewer.
He was talking about the sewer connection at a campsite. It is not illegal; that's what they are there for. Many people boondock with only batteries and solar; they don't run the A/C. This is who the van is marketed to.

Thank you for the kind words!
You're the best. I'm picking up a used 2022 Thor Rize 18m tomorrow and I don't even feel that I need to look at the owner's manual. Thanks
This is so professional thank you
I appreciate this walkthrough not being sales-y and really highlighting all of the features. This van is definitely one I’m considering.
Really thorough walk through. Great job
Why I’m I renting an apartment? I’m sold!!! The thing I love about this Rv is that it is very conspicuous!! Omg a bed stove toilet shower! I’m sold. 😊

Excellent presentation 👏; best one I have seen. I love this Thor model.
Thank you! I bought a Thor Rize about a month ago, and the dealer I bought it from told me almost none of this.
It's a pleasure to help!
Excellent video
Another great video young man! Been looking forward to a new video... was not disappointed
One of the better walkthroughs, thank you!
Thank you for the kind words Terrell!
Hey Terrell, @TerrellWSmith I watched your informative Class P RV videos. Are you still car camping with your Prius?

Awesome video walk around !
Great presentation!
This is the most comprehensive review of saying on this model excellent job
Thank you very much!
Agreed!
This is a nice guy. Older men are usually hard sellers , take your keys and won't let you leave dealership until you sign a contract.😢
Thank you for the kind words Ramon!
Love the layout and nice bright interior but I don’t want propane or generator, I want lithium batteries
Great demo.
What good is the generator if you can't use the microwave and air conditioner together?
Excellent job explaining
Thank you Robin!
Awesome ❤

Ballpark price please?
Getting a Thor rise 2023
Thanks for your video. I want to know if the cassette toilet and black tank can be removed?
The black tank can be removed from its compartment to dump the waste. I hope this helps!
I love the motorhome how much I'm from Kenya can it be imported to Kenya
This chassis still 2021, not 2022, 2022 interior panel is changed.

Is the toilet a black tank or a cassette style?
Hi Margaret! The toilet has a blank tank which is emptied through the same outlet as the grey tank.
@@AceRV I’m confused then, why does it have a cassette module….?

Wondering if they fixed the low generator problem?
What was the problem?
Seems the generator was too low in the early models.
Does it have a cabin heater?
Yes, there is a furnace/heater on this unit!
