Side bets are absolutely awful and I’m puzzled why people like them so much unless the allure of large payouts entices them. Playing at a 6 to 5 free bet table is ballsy to say the least but the basic strategy was solid nonetheless.
Depends on the sidebet. The common sidebet in my area is better than the main bet. Blackjack is an awful game for the player regardless but in almost 4 years of playing, there’s only been 1 or 2 times I’ve walked away ahead without the sidebet. The hands will not rescue you
@@tkr1408 I don’t believe that at all. Blackjack has a 0.5 percent house edge and the house loses that advantage with even moderate card counting skills. There is no side bet out there that has a house edge lower than .5%

I hit sidebet once at a casino the cards matched and a 5 dollar sidebet turned into 150 bucks. It can happen
