Thank you so much for this video! My mom had the same machine. She even sewed her wedding dress on it! I have had this machine sitting in my house for a year and finally got it out. Your video has helped me figure it out.
Thank you for putting this video up!! I have fought off and on with my 15-125 for a few months, getting frustrated with it as I'm used to the Japanese clones (the 15-30 version of the clones). To me this is a bit backward. But I love the green!! I enjoy your videos, and have watched them for some other machines--the Dressmaker 7000 and Singer 401A I believe.
That looks similar to the 185-j . Which I recently picked up and am learning on . I have numbers 7 - 30 going in sequence from 7 10 15 30 . There is a little red indicator . I don't know what the numbers signify in reference to stitch length ? Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated . Thank You and God Bless
Too bad you can’t use real words like “clockwise” or “counterclockwise” when describing how to set the bobbin in the case; or even use words like “uptake lever” instead of “like that” when describing where the thread goes when threading the upper threads.
Thank you for your informative video on this machine. I have a Singer 1956 15-125. My daughter-in-law got it for me at a yard sale. Love how it sews.
I think they only made them in this style for 4-5 years. Nice machine, I really like mine.

Can you make this video again with showing how to thread it up close?

Ohter than looking similar in cosmetics . There isn't much alike between the 185-j .
