Love going on forest Holidays. Always relaxing, comfortable. Place to chill and wind down, take time to relax and reflect. Enjoy being with the family.

Forest holidays aren't always the cheapest compared to you average cottage rental, but you're paying for that amazing woodland environment. And the hot tub!

Prices look to be about the same as centre parcs but without all the amenities

Yeah, generally, they're similar, perhaps Forest Holidays is slightly cheaper on average. Center Parcs is great if you want the hustle and bustle with the pools, shops and restaurants etc, where as Forest Holidays is definitely aimed at being a more relaxing stay in nature. Still both great choices for a family break... just depends what your family's priorities are. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. We really appreciate it. Matt and Issy

Had a quick question about the hot tub, are you able to use it during cold days for example easter holidays given that its not raining?

Hi. Yes, absolutely! We've used hot tubs in January! It's cold getting in and out, but once you're in, it's lovely. Don't let rain stop you either, you're going to get wet in a hot tub anyway! ☺️😄

Looking into Forest Holidays ourselves. Reviews seem a bit mixed on Trip Advisor. What did you think of it cleanliness wise? And did you feel too overlooked? Doesn't look like you would be from your video when you're out on your decking/in the hot tub?

We have been multiple times to various locations, and they've always been spotless (at least in our experience). Perhaps as with all holiday homes, some are in better condition than others, as they get renovated from time to time, but never had an issue with cleanliness. Keep in mind most people go on TripAdvisor to moan, not to post positives. One thing we can say with certainty is we've never felt even close to overlooked. The lodges have always been very well spaced apart, as you can see in our video, and they carefully angle the cabins to give you maximum privacy. Obviously, there may be a few cabins in some locations where this may differ, but we've never had any issues with being out on the deck or hot tub. Usually it's just you and a lot of trees! Hope that helps, Matt and Issy

@@ExploreHomeRepeat I did say the same the same to my husband in the end. People rarely go on these sites to write a positive review as they just have a great time and then go on with their lives. Most of the time it's only when people have a complaint or something to moan about that they would write on these sites so the view of a place can be skewed. We have now booked a forest holiday and very much looking forward to it.
Loving your videos and looking forward to seeing where 2023 takes you. Added lots of places you've visited that look lovely to my days out list so looking forward to exploring some new places. Happy new year to you all.
