He coached a Jets team that had amazing talent and couldn’t even win the Stanley Cup because he couldn’t coach defence and he sucks at coaching the power-play , he is a dinosaur when it comes to offence where it’s always dump and chase which was one of his biggest weaknesses to why the team couldn’t get over the hump, the guy is all talk and no action
I would like to know, what went wrong in Jets. 26 and 55, coaching, or something else. They had a good team, but never capitalized it, so many young talented players wasted...

He allowed toxic behavior in the dressing room and refused to play Laine and Ehlers on the top line, he was a horrible coach, I doubt he last a year in Florida.

Pather fans the truth is the jets were not a mediocre team, they were a very good team ruined by bad coaching, let that sink in . Laine was an amazing talent but Maurice never gave him the chance to shine like a barkov, expect older veterans to take more ice time and play way too much, it's the Maurice way
