Considering how extremely late in the game you finally get him on your team, you're probably right. Also the fact that him and Rabbid Yoshi were the only characters that were cut from Sparks of Hope, and it was (imo) a very worthwhile cut for us to get Edge, Rabbid Rosalina and Bowser, they're all such awesome additions to the team.

I think there should be an "alternate" ending for sparks of hope If you lose against cursa there will be an special cutsene Bassicaly what happens in it it all the heroes are defeated The only ones that didnt gave up are mario luigi and rabbid mario There will be an special fight where you fight cursa with the remaining streng and will of these characters i sayed earlier All of them habe 30% of their total healt You cant heal your character,chose a different spark or use items If you win (somehow) There will be another cutscene of mario and rabbid mario doing a combo of cursa with their hammers Luigi using the sentry of the first game and shootinf an electrified arrow to cursa Cursa start to explode and free al the poor sparks that got captured But stela is no longer here She got completely consumed by the darkness or whatever its called This is pretty much the "neutral ending" U saved the sparks and ur heroes But u didnt manage to save stela And the "bad" ending Is pretty much u lose to cursa on the 1st fight But also on the second one There is a cutscene All your heroes are dead Well not exactly dead But ya know stunned or smth They get consumed by cursa...but Somehow stela manage to break free from cursa Now there is a fight beetwen cursa and stela If you lose... Really happy to see I'm not the only who calls "Stella" to Rosalina. It just has sense for me because because Rosalina's spanish name is Estela. (Nothing personal, but Rosalina is an aunt of mine's name as well. I don't dislike the name itself, but you already know... 😅)
Such a shame, they cam make cutscenes with every other main character interacting with their rabbid but not one for Yoshi and rabbid Yoshi. I'm starting to think that Yoshi is reallly just a backup character for this Mario+Rabbids franchise. SHAME
I believe that the new voices are pretty nice, but I don't like how they changed almost every rabbid in the game into your average npc that says one line of forgettable dialog, then stands there for the rest of the game unchanged. I missed it's chaotic nature, so I would've made every unimportant rabbid into the same old chaotic beings they are, except maybe a little toned down.

I feel like the custom rabbid voices were a mistake. They were funnier with their OG rabbid voice
most people are annoyed with their og voices, it's a nice change of pace to see them with their own distinct voices.
That's why we got proper VA's in the sequel. Everyone was so annoyed with the OG voices.
