I know the whole digging them out is most of the fun, but this whole product is such a rip-off. The rocks are very poor quality. You were right about the three being the same, that's the snowflake obsidian. The second one that looks like a dark mountain is amethyst. The blue and white is the sodalite. Light green is jade; orangy/yellow is yellow jade. To see if you have a salt crystal, just press it to your tongue. Salty? Salt crystal! I encourage anyone who thinks those rocks are cool to visit your local rock shop. The things you see will blow your mind. Start your collection today, future rock hounds. Mother earth holds makes many incredible things.
How wonderful! Just be careful buying labradorite on-line. I've been burned so many times. Photographs can catch a glimmer of shine that isn't so readily noticed by the naked eye. If you have found a good vendor, you have found true treasure. Since you like labradorite, you might also like hypersthene. It has the same pleochroism that causes that shimmer, and it's a beautiful grey and black stone. Other pleochroic stones are moonstone, sunstone (drool), and spectrolite. Good luck with your collection!

that's a pretty tiny piece of ruby. I just checked ebay and you can get a 15 by 8 millimeter piece of ruby for 30 dollar or something. I think you can get more than 500 of those tiny fragments from a stone of that size, so you're looking at best at 6 cents worth of ruby there :D
Search ebay for "112 Ct Ebay Nice IGL Certified Natural Red Ruby Raw" This baby costs 12 usd, how many of these tiny splinters do you think you can get out of it? I doubt they use the finest raw material and certainly won't use jewellery quality rubies or cut stones to turn them into fragments.

Where in Target is the area you found these in? The toy section or the front $1-$5 bins? I've never found the Dig It's in the bins but I did find some Egyptian sand things that you have to "excavate". But no Diamond or Gold Dig It's yet. I'd love to find them because I'm a fan of rocks and gems.

Digging it out the correct way...makes a lot of dust. I can't see that dust bring good for your lungs. They're pretty neat though. I like unique rocks and gems, used to collect them as a kid.i think the rock crystal was the salt and the blue could be an amethyst

The stone itself is definitely pink corundum but I wouldn’t go so far to say it’s ruby. For it to be considered ruby the main body color of the stone should be red and often it will have secondary hues like orange, pink, and purple.
Blue is sodalite. The yellow is the yellow jade. The greenish one is the new jade. And the dark purple is amethyst. And the three to the side are snowflake obsidian
Digging is the funnest part and scince my brother got one of these three years ago I’ve been on a quest to find these and now I know where to get then so if it’s even there if people want to see the vid if I get it it will probably come out in a week btw I really want to get to 400 subs so if you guys can help that would be awsome

Pretty sure the blue is sodalite. Sodalite tends to be layers of blue and whitish colors, so I think that's one.
