Amazing run man, I've never seen such a flawless playthrough. The way you handled Jet was very satisfying. I always lose at least 2 lives fighting that boss. I'm definitely using your method next time I play through the game. In my opinion, SOR3 is the best game out of the series (not counting SOR4 because I haven't played it). A lot of people complain about the soundtrack, but I love it. The controls are a lot better as well, with more freedom of movement as well as specials.I'd pop this game in any day.
He's using a TAS(Tool Assist) which is pretty much a program that does most of the work for you and plays the game for you like a cpu playing for you but playing at an elite God level than what most humans can play at

Had to save the game right as I'm walking up right before Shiva just over the gate. Did it over and over and over again. Literally a full hour... Until I finnaly mastered it enough to beat him that same way. Oh my gosh... I'm so tired. Can't believe I did it.

The ost was made this way on purpose, because unlike the second game they were trying to give more focus to storytelling. Sadly the story was gutted in the western release, as well as many unnecessary changes.

But this version sucks anyway, the japanese version is way easier, has the old colors, hidden levels from the Beta-Version (riding a bike) and this gay dude to beat up, very funny. ..........

Martin C It means a computer is putting in button inputs every frame. In other words, somebody will make a computer do certain button inputs at certain times to show how to perfectly speedrun a game. You have to put in inputs for every frame, so it’s very time consuming, and TAS can be beaten out just like regular speedruns.
It can only be done if you are using a 6 button controller. Star 1 is X, Forward, Forward. Star 2 is X, Down, Forward. Star 3 is X, Back, Down, Forward. You can do all of these moves without having any stars.
Good work, great TAS, I see that there was a struggle for each frame, a moderately beautiful speedrun, but I guess you can improve the time, but these are just my guesses. Good TAS

Not with Axel. It's a different story with Blaze, Zan and Shiva. Axel's offensive special does a good amount of damage but its not worth using because of how long the ending animation is and the recover of it. It would be move optimal to finish off normal enemies with blitz 2. I didn't learn that until i was pretty deep into make the TAS and I was to lazy to go back and do if over again. This isn't a good Axel TAS at all imo
