Whoever said Gare du nord is sketchy hasn't been to the rest of Paris 🙂 The only part of Paris (and by Paris I mean Ile de France) that can be said to be dangerous is Saint-Denis. The rest can be rich, poor, usually dirty but not really dangerous

I believe the Gare du Nord is the 3rd largest train station in the world in terms of traffic flows. The Eurostar leaves from this gare..
