uhhh... yes (privately) since 1970.... and me respectively since 1988... the only reason i mentioned it as it would be a nice full circle Kittl Concept to Completion... thank you for the note i did not wish to bother as it takes a substantial amount of effort and resources to professionally design develop and deliver product for the general population..... love what you all are doing..... colabs are fun and bring a community together... would have loved to help.... please keep me in mind.. danke, kai
I have a redbubble shop but I find it impossible to get views. I have 16 designs inspired mostly by a retro style. I’m excited to learn more through being a part of Kittl as they is my main goal. I’ll never be rich from my work but I’ve never really wanted to be. Getting better as a designer is for me where the real treasure resides.
I am planning to start my POD business and I waitng gor Merge For Amazon respond, in the meanwhile I am making my designs using kittl wich q I found it very easy to do. I wish to find more design varieties . I got the pro membership.
I am wanting to start designing on T-shirts. I have been selling my art prints but have not tried the shirts yet. So I'm learning from your videos on how to use Kittle to help me . Thank you for the simple lessons. I am 71 and learning new stuff!
Btw I’m now about to pluck up the courage to design t shirts. I’ve always loved the retro style so glad it’s back. I’m a 60’s child so I think the 60’s and 70’s were the best decades! 😂
I just want to say a huge massive thank you to all you guys and girls at Kittl. Your passion, skill and dedication is unparalleled and just oozes heart, quality and authenticity. You must be so proud of the machine you are building because it really shines in a world full of bland and cookie cutter ‘designers’. To be a part of your incredible venture is a priveledge and I am absolutely honoured to be a part of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I love watching and hearing younger folks talk about styles of the 60-70's. As an "OLDER THAN DIRT" artist/teacher (73 years) I grew up back then and the most loved fonts of that time were "Art Nouveau", pushed forward by artist of that time like; MOUSE AND KELLEY (Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse) who did many posters and album covers like the Grateful Dead ... love your software and you good at these presentation mate... Be safe ... side note if you are thinking about doing older designs, Creem Magazine (Detroit) and a book of M & K published in 1979, if you can find it.
Kittl is awesome! I heard about it from Juna at Detour Shirts who has been more helpful than anyone else in putting out useful information to help me improve my t-shirt designs. Having said that, Kittl is by far the best tool I've seen in the past two years for putting together designs that are clean, easy, and contain all of the elements I need for shirts that sell. Kittl just makes it so easy to manipulate everything in a design to get what I need. Thanks again. - the only addison
I am just starting out with designing T-shirts to sell online. I LOVE Kittl!!! It's a GREAT graphic design software and I LOVE the tutorials!!! Really appreciate how clear the narrator is and how easy he is to follow!!
Hi, thank you so much for kittl and all your tutorials. It is amazing, and I can't wait to learn more. You're doing a fantastic job. It may be a little slower for the slow learner, lol. I have a small shop but am trying to learn print on demand. X
You guys are amazing! Total game changer for those of us who are artists but not great with photoshop! A million thanks from a print on demand seller and Kittl pro user!
Thank you so much Drew this tutorial is amazing. I’m gradually getting through all your tutorials and learning from scratch how to design as I didn’t have a clue before! I’m a Kittl pro user. The software is awesome. Thank you 🙏🌸🕊
Great Product, One suggestion is to be able to copy your styles from one text to another for example when you did all that shadowing on the vibes word, it would be great to be able to copy the same style to the other word, just a idea
Right! I see what you are saying, but since it's a slight hack, it's a bit difficult to do that way 😅. What you could do is group those all together, then duplicate it, then go about changing font/wording for each one in the group. Hopefully one day we will have a style like that where you don't have to do that!
Hey Kittyl! I do print on demand shirts and just started so you're site is my go to! 💜 It! Trying to set up my own sales site. Company is The Baehr's Edge🥰
Excellent video, congratulations. I'm going to start a print on demand business directly from Portugal to the USA market, but I'm completely lost because there are so many UA-camrs, each with different information and different design tools. I really don't know where to start.
That's true, there is so much information, but that's actually a good thing! Just take things one step at a time, and go from setup to research to design.
Many Thanks! Great Presentation, with Succinct Practical Advice! ........................................... as that famous movie Line said: " I am Wit You"! Brad Holmes Tai Chi Gold Coast
Thank you for the tutorial! I am very new to this game. And old. Two strikes against me. But am I only able to edit the designs, like change colors, on only the Kittl graphics I use? How about something from creative fabrica? Thanks for your time
Hey there! So long as you have a license to use your graphics from Creative Fabrica, there should be no issue with you uploading them and using them in Kittl for your Print on Demand shirts, just like you would in any other program.
I have been watching the videos on Kittl -it Is a wonderful site. Can you do a video on designing a monogram for metal art? I think it will be useful for a lot of people out there.
Hey there! We do have a video about making a monogram badge logo, which may prove beneficial for you! You could apply some of the same techniques to achieve the look you want! ua-cam.com/video/2pcC0P352c8/v-deo.html
Would another strategy be to create just the design for one word (ie "Good"), refine its colors and and other design constants, duplicate it -- and then fairly easily change the text to "Vibes" ?? Btw, what do any of you recommend for the best generic art-board size to represent my maximum t-shirt design space... so I can always see what room I have to work with??
Hey there! I think that should work! Whatever process works best for you. And there isn't a perfect artboard size for t-shirt design since every printer is going to be different, but we know a lot of people like to go with 4500 x 5000 pixels because that is the standard for Merch by Amazon.
Textures can be added to your design, but at the moment, there is no masking feature, so it would be a full square of texture. The recommendation for now would be to leave textures off for the current moment until they can be masking to your design, which will come soon. Cheers!
Hey there! The interface in this video is quite dated at this point, although functionality is the same. Check out some of our more recent videos to see what might have changed!
You can utilize our fonts and effects as well as elements and textures on the free version, but yes, only Pro and Expert accounts can remove the background and export at higher resolutions, as the Free plan is meant for you to get a feel for whether or not Kittl is right for you!
You can do this currently by duplicating the text. Perhaps you mean duplicating groups, but you would still have to edit each individual text within the group.

@@Kittldesign Ohh thank you for the good news..
Do you have the tutorial about the seamless pattern?
We do not at the moment, but will in the future.
Why does my Kittl interface look different from yours? Are there different versions?
Hey there! The interface in this video is quite dated at this point, although functionality is the same. Check out some of our more recent videos to see what might have changed!
I need some help with zazzle
We'll try to look into Zazzle more!
Is it fully commercialy usable? Like can we put our designs directly on different platforms?
Yep! To learn more about our licensing, check here: www.kittl.com/licensing
Can you import images and edit with Kittl?
Yes! The uploads panel is over on the left side in the editor.
@@Kittldesign Awesome, thank you!
Yes, I do sell tshirts online and expanding my business
That's great! We hope Kittl helps you achieve this goal!
Every time i try to line them up, it goes crazy, can using the tidy button instead?
Hey there, we're not sure what you mean exactly, but don't hesitate to reach out to our chat support so we can take a look at what's going on.
this is way better than printful
We're sure exactly what you are referring to, but we're glad you liked the video!
Super kool send me the file I’ll print it for you real time! Cheers, Kai
Glad you liked it! And no thank you :) This is just for tutorial's sake.

Print on demand Printify
Nice!
Selling but there is no good print on demand platform in India...horrible quality of merchandise
Sorry to hear about that! Maybe a good one will turn up soon! Maybe search for some POD that do internationally.
If you could duplicate layers you'd be able to keep the effects but just change the text for a different word
You can do this currently by duplicating the text. Perhaps you mean duplicating groups, but you would still have to edit each individual text within the group.
