      That is a good idea. I don't have a good case of abnormal placentation, but I can probably cover basic normal histology.

    Hi!!
    How many minimum villi should be affected? They taught me that there must be 10 villi with changes in 10 fields seen with 10 x... thanks...

      Hi Patricia,
      It depends on the material you have. I don't think anyone makes a diagnosis of a complete mole without p57 nowadays. Even one villus can be diagnostic. Dr. Matthew Quick showed a case of a completely degenerated and necrotic complete mole in one of the USCAP courses. Immuno did not work on that one, of course, and there was not even a single viable villus. If you have abundant material, all villi are typically large and edematous, unlike in partal mole.
