      The sales of China cars in Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa and Australia are increasing rapidly.

      what does it mean "one day" ,I bought new Hyundai Tucson in 2016 ,when warranty expired (7 years ) i was looking for replace ,price off new Hyundai Tucson went a lot if you spec it how i wanted it ,then i saw Gelly Atlas Pro which had everything i wanted but for 10 000 euros less.Same 7 year warranty so i bought it last year and did not regret.
      My opinion is that is actually 30% better then Tucson

      Here in Australia, the Chery Omoda 5 is quite popular and driven (quality and safety standards are quite high) around by a decent number, meanwhile 5-10 years ago Chery cars here were a joke, design is either unattractive or basic, cheap, and uncommon.

      @@Setarko Thanks for the great video! About this thing, are there any regulations in Russia regarding the emissions of the vehicle? You say that UAZ has problems with engines and can only produce Euro-2 tier engines, but does it make a big problem in Russia?

    • @Setarko
      @Setarko  5 місяців тому +1

      @@theriverthatflows98 Well, Russia doesn't care THAT much about emissions as some european countries but it still does. So there were some ruls under which production of any engine with a standard less than Euro-5 was banned since 2016. But in spring 2022, Rosstandart reinstated a number of national and inter-State norms simplifying requirements for the technical characteristics of cars and other vehicles. They came back into force on May 21, 2022.
      These new regulations allow:
      manufacture cars without anti-lock brakes;
      produce cars without stability control systems (ESP, etc.);
      to install engines of ecological classes lower than Euro-5;
      not to install the ERA-GLONASS system (GPS analogue).
      Basically it was done as a temporary measure in order to give time for local companies to build new supply chains for modern components, and in the meantime produce simplified versions of the cars from existing components.
      So yeah, we have regulations but they have been temporary mitigated since 2022.

      A large number of parts (including engines and gearboxes) of LADA cars come from China.
      In fact, China's parts industry is more powerful than the whole vehicle (even on a global scale).

    I just wish you spoke about the Atom project from Rosatom; it's nowhere near completion and will likely take another two years for their cars to hit the market, but they're still a lot closer to realization than other similar projects, such as the E-Neva by Almaz-Antei and whatever GAZ and VAZ are trying to pull off with their Chinese partners.

    Let's start with the fact that Chinese cars are slowly conquering the entire planet, so it's not just a Russian "problem". The biggest disappointment I think is that a country of 145 million inhabitants has a worse domestic car industry than Italy for example. This should concern the country's leadership, when indeed the leadership trumpets that Russia is an industrial superpower.

      On November 2 of 2009, Toyota recalled 3.8 million vehicles because of floor mats that trapped accelerator pedals, followed by an additional 400,000-vehicle recall four weeks later. These recalls were triggered by a car collision in August 2009 that took the lives of four people.

    I don't think that China will overtake the other old european or asian brands. The chinese ,,businessmen,, are from nomenklatura or chinese secret services and are at the mercy of the dictator of China . In this kind of enviroment is difficult to create a truly chinese brand that could compete with well known international brands.

    Lada is just the name. Within it there are so many parts source from China, same as all the cars around the world. People who say Chinese made are not reliable, well check under the hood of a BMW, Honda, Toyota, ect. before you say it. Chinese made is not the same as what it use to be anymore.
