  • Culp’s Hill is the only place on the Gettysburg battlefield that saw fighting on all three days of the battle. We know now that this position essentially became a natural fortress for the Union forces. But imagine being told to advance beyond the works and take up position in front of the fortifications that provided so much safety. That’s exactly what the men of the 66th Ohio were told to do. In this episode we will learn about their actions on Culp’s Hill on July 3rd, 1863.
