Ozello Low Low Tide with Jet Drive - Redfish/Trout/Black Drum

Goal was Redfish started at noon with no water. We spent 3 hrs seeing alot of reds but only landing 1. Around 3 we hit a trout/drum spot till 430 then went home with a cooler full.

Free line the live shrimp with a hook next time without the bobber. Less is more. Especially in that shallow and clear of water.

It's hard when its that shallow you gotta be a lot sneakier than that, all them islands out of st Martins river super shallow but full of big reds and snook. But by time you see them they are already half spooked. We stay off the islands a good bit and cast to them or get right up on if the wind is bad and cast far down along the shore

If you have a lot of floating grass you need at least a 90/65 to power through it but still will have a lot of issues. You can’t fish outter open water areas down there because of it. It’s only a backwater boat and great for yankeetown. I sold it because of the grass issue
