Some great looking back roads you find, The road to Armidale will not be started to be worked on till 2024. The signs say local traffic only, I would classify swr as local😊
Would love to ride up through there again David, but too far to get turned back 😩. If you do go that way, let me know if you get through. Cheers mate 👍
I must have been couple hours before you on that kookabookra rd to glen Innes always wanted to go way from watching your other video. It was a great track 👍
I own a DR650 and my son has the same as you ! I am happy you like your new 300 but I would not swop ! I wish you all the best for your future adventures.
What glorious country you went through. I definitely want to do some of that region on my bike one day soon. Thanks for inspiring me to start planning my next trip Pjil looking forward to next instalment.
Great video as usual. I got through on that road to Armidale in early June and the road was officially closed. I decided to try as I saw cars coming from that direction and encountered a local who said I would get through. I was in my 4wd, some tight spots but okay. A beautiful place to travel through
Awesome! - such great roads on the way up there, I reckon you found a good alternative to the Kempsey-Armidale Rd and even more gems after! Great trip so far mate.
You could have gone fromTaylor's Arm to Bowraville then up the Bellingen Rd. Some water crossings up in the New England are covered in slime and are almost a guaranteed fall. Ask me how I know.
@@MidCoastAdventures I hear you. I live in Armidale so plan to head down the Kempsey Rd to Bellbrook, Taylor's Arm, Missabotti soon when it gets a bit warmer. There are lots of fabulous rides up here. Just pick a direction and go.
So dry out there! Hoping Armidale Rd opens soon, I'm hanging to go camping at Styx River but not going to go the long way. How good was your lunch spot!!
It's deemed open to local traffic only. So, seems up to the council weather you get through or not (as a traveler). So, until all works are done, i'd consider it closed. Cheers mate
E5 means euro 5 compliant ,emissions control, I wouldn't put E 10 in my lawn mower, have you ever used 95 octane to see if you get more mileage out of your bike.
Ride map in the description box - enjoy 😎👍
Great country. Looks better in summer and after some rain. I'm jealous🤓
Was pretty dry up there Russell, and surprisingly NOT cold. Cheers 🍻
Beautiful country side crf looks good too 👍👍
Cheers Johnny 😎👍

Cheers David 👍 Both great machines, one has more power and used more fuel, the other sounds like lawn mower and just as cheap run 😉....lol
What glorious country you went through. I definitely want to do some of that region on my bike one day soon. Thanks for inspiring me to start planning my next trip Pjil looking forward to next instalment.
Glad you are inspired mate 😎👍 Some amazing country up that way.

Been closed for sooooo long now 😫 Stix river is so nice. Love the lookout too, amazing view 😎
Was Armidale Road shut? I want to do that this summer from kempsey.

Standard suspension?
Yep
Hard to get used to the sound of the 300 after liking the 650
New pipe coming may help....maybe 🤔
@@MidCoastAdventures nah. leave it standard.
Wait - didn’t you have a dr650 must have missed an episode …
True. Had tge DR for 3 years, 45,000 kays. Great machine, but time for new and light again 👍
Just turned off Add-Blocker for you.
Cool Steve, thanks mate 👍
E10 🤔 are you sure that fuel is OK for the Honda? My Suzuki has a more expensive taste in what she drinks. 😵💫
Hi Garry, sticker on the tank says E5 and E10 all good 👍
