He silenced all those idiots from a few years ago that said that he would never make it in the Premier League, while he was playing in various clubs in Italy. So what did he do? He went to United and showed that he is a goal scoring machine at 35-36 years old, even in the Premier League. He made everyone shut up.
And still to this day, he is scoring a lot of goals in AC Milan and he is close to 40 years old. With certain injuries and complications, he has still managed to score 25 goals in 37 league apperances for AC Milan.

Have a look at the success and trophies he’s won from multiple leagues all over the country, and the time he has managed to maintain world class top level performances. The only person who have maintained untouchable form for over 10 years except him are Ronaldo and messi. and the fact he did anything with United given the state of the team and staff at the time speaks a lot too.
