  • London DLR train ride. London Tower Bridge Walking Tour Central London England.
London's innovative, driverless Docklands Light Railway (DLR) serves parts of east and south-east London.
The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) train line is connected to the London Tube network. You can pay for your journey with Oyster cards, Visitor Oyster cards or contactless payment. The DLR connects to the IFS Cloud Cable Car and London City Airport.
These trains have interchanges with the London Underground at some major Tube stations, including Bank, Tower Gateway (Tower Hill) and Canary Wharf.
The DLR serves the Docklands, Beckton, Stratford and London City Airport in east and north-east London, as well as Greenwich and Lewisham in south London.
The DLR connects with London's cable car, the IFS Cloud Cable Car, at Royal Victoria Station. The first DLR trains start around 5.30am and end around 12.30am from Monday to Saturday. Sunday services start later and finish earlier, usually beginning around 7am and ending around 11.30pm.
Tower Bridge is famous because it's London's most striking bridge because of it's Neo-Gothic architecture and lifting central sections. When it opened, it was the most sophisticated bascule bridge in the world.
Enjoy a panoramic view of city life from the Glass Floors and high-level Walkways, 42 metres (138ft) above the river. Time your visit to coincide with a Bridge Lift and see the roadway rise beneath your feet.
Then head to the magnificent Victorian Engine Rooms to hear about the lives of the people who kept the bridge going. The permanent exhibition uses photographs, films and interactive displays to bring their stories to life. Entry to Tower Bridge is £11.40 for adults and £5.70 for children.
