Seven times? a little excessive!! isn't worth to visit it so many times, I think it’s a typical city of central Europe, they all look alike, has nothing special that differentiates it from them....I was once and had enough.

Warsaw is maybe not the most beautiful city in the world, but that's probably the most fascinating one. It's a city that hates the present, Warsaw is about the past (imagine how the City was before the war) and the future (imagine how the city will be in 5 years). Warsaw stimulates your imagination, and every street is a bad or a good surprise. Every street is a different architecture, a different emotion. It's a raw and open museum of the history of Europe. Krakow is like "OK this is great, but it's a typical central-Europe city", Warsaw is unique and unpredictable.

I completely agree with you. You found the right words. Not the most beautiful...but the most fascinating ! You are just exactly right. Currently no other one city in Europe is developing so rapidly. Just amazing. The particularity of Warsaw is its diversity of styles. Nowadays -like a revenge to the history - it can afford what other Cities couldn't. If you go to Krakow /Praga/Buda.......in 10 years, it will not change very much. Warsaw is changing from year to year in an amazing way. Varso : VIE !!!!

Your country (Ukraine) is the most Nazi country in the world. Poles were murdered by the Nazis, while the Ukrainians collaborated with them on massive scale and helped in the slaughter of the Warsaw citizens and the Holocaust via the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police (Ukrainische Hilfspolizei), battalions of the Ukrainian Schutzmannschaft (Ukrainische Schutzmannschaft) and SS-Galizien.
The fact that Poles didn't want to hire you doesn't mean that you can take revenge on whole Polish nation.

I lived 10 years in Warsaw and fell in love with the city the first day :)
For people who like nature I would recommend visiting beaches by Vistula river (Żoliborz beach, LaPlaya beach), walk paths by the Gdański bridge, bars by Vistula river (Vistula boulvars); Kabaty forest, Bielanski forest, Powsin; Viking village and Kępa Potocka Park, which are not far from the Żoliborz beach. There is Moonsfera restaurant near Kępa Potocka, Żoliborz beach and Viking village, which is located on the roof of the Olympic centre (scenic views) where you can have a nice lunch or a drink.
You can also go on the cruise on Vistula - it can be a whole day or a few hours trip, ride a horse in Kabaty forest, go on a ride on a veturilo bicycle and rent a kayak or a motorboat. Even in summer you can go sking and snowboarding on Górka Szczęśliwicka (all the equipment is there) and rollerblading near National stadium (Stadion Narodowy). In the winter there are ice rinks at the National stadium and old town square :)
If you like experimenting and science Centrum Kopernika would be a cool place to see - I noticed that not many tourists go there.
There are also other interesting places like the only restaurant in Poland where waiters are blind and you have your meal in complete darkness :)
You can go to Kwadrat comedy theatre - not sure if all but many acts are translated into English. Its the idea to ask local people and check groupon and forums for other attractions. Warsaw has a looooot to offer, a lot is happening there. The best idea is to go there from half May to mid September when the weather is the nicest.
If I come back to Poland, I will live in Warsaw again :)

Zapraszamy!!!

Ugly????? Looks pretty damn nice to me! Much better than the LA, SF, or NYC. I don’t see any bums, druggies, poop or used needles on the street nor trash everywhere, like here. Even SD. I was there last week n turned into a street, which literally for several blocks, there where druggies n homeless EVERYWHERE! They were gathered in groups all along the sidewalks n walking in the middle of the traffic, n cars had to stop or go around them!

Indeed not the most beautiful city. But the most fascinating ! Currently no other City in Europe is developing so rapidly.

Nice video, subscribed. I try to keep up with the reconstruction going on in Warsaw, and it looks like they're at a good pace of rebuilding what was lost during the war. It's looking more beautiful as the years go by, fixing the damage that was done. I hope they rebuild the Saxon Palace and the Bruhl Palace soon, they looked very nice and the square doesn't look right without them. Good luck from America, and keep moving forward!

Your country (Ukraine) is the most Nazi country in the world. Poles were murdered by the Nazis, while the Ukrainians collaborated with them on massive scale and helped in the slaughter of the Warsaw citizens and the Holocaust through the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police (Ukrainische Hilfspolizei), battalions of the Ukrainian Schutzmannschaft (Ukrainische Schutzmannschaft) and SS-Galizien.
The fact that Poles didn't want to hire you doesn't mean that you can take revenge on whole Polish nation.

This is maybe the only negative comment about Warsaw in the comment section... but I am here as an exchange student since less than 1 month and already many of my friends have been attacked in the city. Today I experienced my first attempted robbery/attack ((in the middle of the day!!!)) on a busy street in the center... So no, in my personal experience a very unsafe city, regardless of where or when. Sure it is cleaner than expected, but I'd rather live somewhere filthy and feel safe to walk alone downtown during daytime.

Warsaw is also very green. The banks of the river are intentionally left undeveloped as a leisure area for its citizens to enjoy.. Unlike London or Paris.
