I started at Kirklandneuk on the first day it opened. I must admit I do not remember it. I came from Blythswood school. I remember my last day there. The ‘Heidie’ Mr McNeil, I recognised right away. I remember e was a great headmaster. I went to the 40th re union. It was quite emotional. I am sorry I missed the “60”.
